Pah, what OS did you run previously?

I'm running the windows default theme and I am still experiencing issues. Again, same deal, after file edits, sometimes the player freezes. I can restore the player by hiding MM behind something else and showing it again, or even by resizing the window. One difference now that i'm using the default ...

Another odd issue.

Every now and then, when updating tags from amazon, the release year for track number one does not get updated. It's the only field, and it's only for track #1. I can't reproduce it. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't.

Re: auto-tag from amazon feedback

Sadao: I like this idea--tracks with a '?' shouldn't be enabled for auto-tagging by default. Hopefully we'll fit this in... Rusty, I think this behaviour is flaky in it's RC-2 implementation (thanks for looking at it though!). The unchecked tracks (with the question marks) were updated along with t...

Good to hear that. I've noticed that you already implemented some comments I had made a while back :D .

It's far more satifying to stomp on a keyboard than a mouse. You should try it .

↓↓↓↓↓↓ Ah, the swinging. Mouse wins hands down here :o

Sometimes it's a keyboard thing. The shift, ctrl, or alt keys can get stuck causing very weird behaviour. When that happens, try hitting the offending key repeatedly for a while.

Yeah, but you have the cool plastic bills. Besides, the US Dollar is starting to look more and more like funny money. As far as what's faster, that depends. I'm a big fan of keyboarding (see the thread I just started on the matter), and most of the time it's faster for me. The better designed the ke...

Keyboard Navigation in Media Monkey

I'm one of those obsessive keyboard users who avoids the mouse when at all possible. I find that in a well designed application keyboard only usage is 2x or more faster than mouse usage - provided the user is willing to memorize a plethora of shortcuts. One might say: "well, most people aren't going...

I'll test out different skins/no skins when I get home today.

Another tidbit, i'm using ATI's latest Catalyst drivers (4.12 I believe).

Yes, but then I would have to use my mouse. I'm about as anal about keyboard-only as you are about lyrics in your tags .

cursor placement on file delete

I often need to run through a folder with 1000+ tracks and delete a bunch of them. I generally do this by scrolling up and down with the arrow keys. My problem is that when i delete a file the cursor gets reset to the top of the tracklist, so when i press down to go to the next track I end up a the ...

The diplay issues have returned on RC-1. To be fair I'm not sure if 'returned' is the right term, as I hadn't used MM extensively until today.

I'll give RC-2 a shot, though I can't imagine there will be a difference.
