Really? I don't see any option in the right-click dropdown for it? It DOES work when I click SHIFT/CTRL/C, but I still don't see a context menu option for it (like I do when I click TOOLS)... I'm using version 4.0.6.1501

Re: Easier way to "Send To"/Rip/Convert?

Just check Tools > Convert Format and I can type to jump to folder. You know, after looking back again - WHY wouldn't that option be available from a right-click on the highlighter tracks? It would certainly be a lot easier to figure out if some of these cool things were included in the right-click...

Easier way to "Send To"/Rip/Convert?

I'm not sure if this topic has been covered already, but couldn't find it with a search. When I'm sending to the folder the .wav files were originally in to convert them to .wma files, I have to scroll DOWN through the entire library to get to the CD I want to write the tracks into... is there some ...

CHKDSK a constant requirement?

Is anyone else having this problem on synchs since 4.0.6.1501? Auto-synch spins through all except the last 2 CD's, then (for some reason) errors out & causes a CRC error. I've reset permissions on the external drive being used several times to ensure it wasn't anything to do with username, etc., bu...

Re: Duplicate & triplicate synch?

Zzaj, Please let us know if this is still occurring with 4.0.6.1501, and if yes, send in a debug log. p.s. is the drive using the d_wmdm sync plugin or the USB Mass Storage plugin (you can check at Tools > Options > Portable/Audio Devices). Thanks. -Rusty Rusty - it's using the USB Mass Storage plu...

Re: Duplicate & triplicate synch?

External (Western Digital, recognized by MM) USB drive, Auto-Synch (that I start manually with a right-click on the drive letter, as EXTERNAL DEVICE).

Duplicate & triplicate synch?

When I synch (now, after loading 4.0.6.4.199), I'm getting dupe and trip synchs; it never did that before. I've checked & rechecked the 2 drives, the library, etc., & see no folders that would be causing duplicate/triplicate. ALSO, it now takes FOREVER (15 to 20 hours) to synch 18,000 tunes, where i...

Probably a dumb question....

IF I use MM4 to convert files originally ripped at 128kbps to 320kbps - am I getting a BETTER sounding recording - or just a LARGER file?

Re: Questions about ripping music CDs

Encoding is the process of converting a raw data stream into a format which can be later played back. On the Fly means that It does it in real-time. Meaning that it doesn't have to store the data somewhere first and then convert it as a later step. It just does it all in one step. It's a nice featur...

By clicking on the drop-down to the right... I would just like the LAST PATH USED to show up in the box, rather than having to click the drop-down to get it in there... I know other Windows programs do that...
