Re: 1284 - Install Error [#6136]
I don't know if this is related, but I'm getting an error right at the end of installation of the debug version of 1284. Message is "MediaMonkey - Audio Library has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." Checking the the Debug button on the error window gave t...

Re: 1282 Crashing
I had a little time this morning to do a few more tests and accidentally discovered that, at least on my system, I can consistently crash ANY 3.1 version since build 1275. Try to expand either the Artist or Genre nodes of the Library tree beyond one level. On 3.0.7.1191, it works as expected. On any...

Re: 1282 Crashing
Teapot, Etheriau, I'm trying to replicate, but I'm not optimistic. MM 1282 is rock solid on my system. Can you: a) uninstall all addons b) generate a debug log of the crash using dbgview as described at: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=341 That'll give us the information needed...

Re: mediamonkey on exit access error.
This post raised a question in my mind. Is there a way to run MediaMonkey in a safe mode without uninstalling all my add-ons first ?rusty wrote:Cowboy,
You know the drill
Try running without any addons, and generate a debug log.
Thanks!

1282 Crashing
I'm having stability issues with the 1282 version of MM and have experienced several crashes without being able to consistently repeat them. I don't see where it should matter, but prior to when 1282 started crashing, I did reinstall some prior versions using saved copies of my database from when th...

Re: 1282 - Track Browser Behavior Change
Isn't the Track Browser supposed to filter right, and not left? So if you had Genre|Artist|Album, then clicking an album shouldn't filter Genre or Artist, and clicking an artist should filter Album but not Genre? Either way, as for doing a video. There's Wink & CamStudio . Both are screen capturing...

1282 - Track Browser Behavior Change
I could be wrong, but I was sure that when I clicked on a value in one of the Track Browser columns, the other two columns changed to only the values contained in the tracks displayed. That isn't the case now. Picking a Genre in the Track Browser works as before displaying the correct artists and al...

Strange Behavior in 1280 [#6117]
This may have existed in prior versions, but I'm sure that I've done this same sequence of actions before and never noticed this odd behavior. If you are in any Library node or Playlist and have used the Track Browser to select anything, then chosen Tools/Options, when you exit the Options window by...

Re: Set Default Processing Priority in Options
The Performance Options are for multiple CPUs and priority of background tasks, but I'm not sure what background tasks are covered. Mine was already set to Normal, yet some background tasks still start out with a lower priority. My intentions were only to see if others considered this a worthwhile r...

Re: Set Default Processing Priority in Options
I would like to be able to set the default priority for any process within the MM application where the priority can be changed with a right click to the progress bar after the process begins . One example is Auto-analyzing the sound on each new track added to the Library. It's not unusual for me to...

Set Default Processing Priority in Options
There are several processes that can have their processing priority changed by right clicking on the process progress bar. I find that I am always manually changing the priority. On my system, raising the priority to Highest can cut the time to process in half from the defaults of Low or Normal. Wou...

Re: 1277 New behaviors
Studing the log I guess that the problem is that MM auto-analyzes the song while you want to deleted it. You should try to disable Tools->Options->Volume leveling->'[x] Auto-analyze volume of unanalyzed Tracks' on the background feature in order to see if it helps. We should probably enter new issu...

teapot, re. the problem with the error messages re. deleting a folder, we still can't replicate using build 1277. Can you generate a debug log as described at: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=341 That'll give us the information needed to figure out why this is happening. Thanks...

Re: 1277 New behaviors
I have the Gold version which has always allowed me to use Windows Explorer to add tracks to my MM Library. I have a process for adding new music where the files are accumulated in a New Music folder, then when I'm ready to add them, I use Windows Explorer to highlight, drag & drop some or all of th...
