Song sometimes skips to next song when I rate it

I have noticed that MM (2.4 A2) sometimes skips to the next song when I rate it. I have write tags out to MP3 when I make a change turned on, so I am putting this down to the MP3 file getting changed. It only skips in about 1 in 10 songs that I rate. Maybe even 1 in 20, so it doesn't happen that oft...

Have you tried re-syncing? If so, do the error msgs come again? If so, why not share them with us...

Have you tried looking at the contents of the H340 via Windows Explorer? If so, what do you see?

I just discovered a heap more MP3's that have not had their tags synchronised. What are the chances MM 2.4 is going to help me find them? Does anybody know any utilities that will go through my MM database and check the tags against the MP3's? I don't want to synchronise all my files, as that will m...

Assuming you mean ALBUM rather than an actual CD, then in the left hand navigator, just RIGHT click on the ALBUM you want to queue and hit the PLAY LAST menu option.

Device Profile: Summary button causes access violation

When I press the SUMMARY button on the DEVICE PROFILE panel, I get the following error message: Access violation at address 00613307 in module 'MediaMonkey.exe'. Read address 00000040. This happens with the two devices I have set up, a USBKey and my H340. This is with the 2.4 alpha 1 (2.4.1.851).

Thanks

I've also just discovered that a lot of tracks with ratings on the 2nd machine don't match the 1st machine, yet the "Unsynchronised tags" menu option on the 1st machine doesn't report then as not matching (what is on the hard disk of the 1st machine -- which is where the 2nd machine gets them from).

Files to edit -> Unsynchronized tags --- Album Artist iss

I have started running MM 2.3 on a 2nd machine (a leptop) which is connected to my sound system elsewhere in the house. This 2nd machine has read-only access to the 1st machines music folder structure via a network share. I do all my adding/tagging on the 1st machine. The problem is that when I add ...

Is there any chance this feature will make 2.4? More and more I am hitting more than 1999 folders, so I am putting a manual check in place after the syncing to my H340 and then adjusting accordingly. This would save a considerable amount of time/effort on each major sync as I wouldn't even need to s...

iPod Synchronisation?

Let me start by saying that I don't have an iPod, and don't know too much about it. I'm interested in what MM's synchronisation does. As I understand it iPod's have the ability to change the rating of a song and the iPod also keeps track of the times played and last date/time played. I then think iT...

Strange... OK.
I've since found out that my iRiver H340 won't play 5 of the six songs anyway.
I guess these songs are really screwed up in some way. I'll trash them...
Sorry for the wild goose chase and thanks for the reply.

MM 2.3 RC5 - MP3 that don't get tags written to them

I have 6 MP3 files that don't seem to have the ID3 tags written to them. I have CLEARED both lots of ID3 tags and then re-written them, but they still don't seem to get written. The file date changes on the files suggesting that they are written and the MP3's play fine before and after "tagging". I ...
