Re: 1641: No MMA->MMW network connection

UPDATE:

Did not update to 1642 yet, wanted to verify this first.

Replaced WiFi router (I love new toys! - TL-WDR3500 if you're wondering)
and now connection/sync is much smoother.

Still reporting errors, and the status bar thinks I'm still syncing,
but I'm sure 1642 will help with that.

Re: 1641: No MMA->MMW network connection

Windows 8 Pro x32
4GB RAM, gigabit ethernet to Monoprice wifi AP

Bubble UPnP free finds MMW,
but only the items selected for the device in MMW.

Sync fails over network.
I'm starting to suspect this is all due to a craptastic wifi AP.
New equipment ordered, will advise.

Re: 1641: No MMA->MMW network connection

Network is fine (same subnet), no firewall on PC. Not sure how to test UPnP in this environment (work). Uninstalled the Service, then rebooted the phone. No change. Rebooted the PC, then network sync worked but returned errors (list of files that could not be downloaded). After sync, MMA no longer f...

1641: No MMA->MMW network connection

USB sync works, but over wifi, the MMA can't find the MMW, and vice versa.

Worked with 1638 (missed some updates), made no significant changes,
IP address stayed the same.

My thanks to Bob61, this is a great help for the OCD that results from clicking on MagicNodes and TaggingInconsistencies...

Seems to be working fine on my 8k 'Cover Type > Not Specified' tracks...

Re: Configuring the Griffin PowerMate

Update: I hadn't spent enough time with the Hotkey controls in the MediaMonkey Options. They work just fine, and are a valuable feature for everyday users. As much as I appreciate Josh who wrote MediaKeys, that app is really not necessary. However, I omitted another utility I use: 3RVX , which gives...

Configuring the Griffin PowerMate

Greetings all, I use MediaMonkey on my work XP PC, and was constantly reaching for the volume knob on my speaker system, which is a rather 'coarse' control, plus the length of the cables meant I was swiveling and shifting my chair about 8 inches just to tweak a song. Since moving to a trackball mous...

Re: Restore PlayHistory/Playlists/Metadata 2.1 (2011-08-04[M

Are you sure the database had playlists in it? I used it yesterday and the script restored all my playlists and I have over 200 in my db. That's what I said - not sure, but don't know how to check. The reference .db was converted during the MM3->MM4 update, and the Playlists were visible. Digging a...

Re: Restore PlayHistory/Playlists/Metadata 2.1 (2011-08-04[M

I've used this script in the past (pre-v4) and it worked flawlessly. Not so much with MM4.0.0.1455. The Last Played count and date updated, but not the playlists, but no errors. I'm only 95% sure the MM.db I'm linking to has the Playlists (long story), is there a way to verify? Also, will the script...

Hello Lowlander!

Merci, merci! Of course I'd looked right at the drop-down you indicated, no recognition.

Is the Alt+Right thing listed somewhere?
