Disable mouseclick-to-play while editing track?

I've tried searching around but not seen this... So I've some time to kill and I'm going to clean up track names, numbers, whatever. With about 41k tracks, always something to do. I start playing a playlist, then filter and start to fix little annoyances, which brings up my main one: If all I need t...

My player is an iAudio M5 and I use the default d_USBMass1.dll driver.

Where are you designating the path for your playlists?

Sorry I can't be more help...

UPDATE- I'm not sure when this happened or if the community was just waiting for us morons to figure it out, but using the <playlist> tag in the sync options for device filepath/organization does exactly what we two were asking for. I'm not sure if this is an RTFM issue, as I've never encountered a ...

That works, then go to
Tools>Options>Player>DSP Plug-ins
and check the box next to Nullsoft SHOUTcast Source

you should get the cofiguration window.

Error# - 2147221230

I'm running MediaMonkey 2.5.3.968, and copied the script in. Two errors, first: Error says "Line:490, Column: 2" then "Class is not licensed for use." I did the .ini edit and still have the problem, but the second message now says "Error executing script event" My Windows Based Script Host seems to ...

Artist Name reverse/'generate' script?

As a long-time user of Music/MP3 Collector , I enjoyed the 'Generate' function that swapped first & last name and/or dropped prefix 'The' to suffix. For me, this makes file organization much easier. I've Searched around and can't find any threads on this function in MM. Any chance there is something...

MM thinks usb external is Removable Device...

OK, I have an Archos FM 20GB Recorder that is essentially an external usb drive, and MediaMonkey sees it and synchronizes just fine. The Safely Remove feature works with no problem. However, MM also thinks one of my three other usb drive-only drives, F: is a removable device, as well as recognized a...

That clears the read only theory...

So, if that tally is in the database, what would make it selective? I notice that the tracks that don't update are from specific albums, which I think were ripped with MusicMatch and are VBR. Some might have been ripped by iTunes, but not many. Most are from CDs I don't have access to anymore. At wh...

#Played not updating, Read Only suspected

So my AutoPlaylists are all set to include only tracks with "#Played=0" Groovy. Except that some tracks don't update to '1' when they play. I've figured out that the whole track needs to play (or at least if you skip ahead 3 seconds in it won't update), so I'll let the whole track play and check the...

Virtual CD Cleanup / AutoVCD

Like many users, I keep my mp3 files on an external HDD and use the VirtualCD for listening away from my desk (on my laptop). I mentioned in another forum that I would find a definable 'Cleanup' option useful for my Virtual CD. After some thinking out loud, I envision an option under VirtualCD that ...

One more tweak to Scripts page

Thanks back at ya, Rusty, for udating the page. I suggest one more edit, however, at the end of "... should appear" Add: in the Tools menu under Scripts. As smart (& good looking) as Monkey users are, remember that prospective users or demo downloaders are using this information, too. They won't hav...

Where the direction will help most

At the bottom of this page:

http://www.mediamonkey.com/scripts.htm

Would be the place to add that last bit, since it omits this important step
while inferring that nothing more be done.

I only have few Tips For You: 1. <snip> Status -> Is Accessable. Thanks! Good thought. Will do. If I understand you correctly you need feature that will for example remove track from Virtual CD if Played# >=1 or something similar? The Feature would be nice, maybe as 'Clean Up' option for VCD, where...

Managing Virtual CD size

I knew this day would come... As I've ripped tracks on my laptop, I've moved them to an external HDD, then added them to the Virtual CD (VCD) so I can listen away from my desk. But now, I have more files in VCD than my local HDD can hold. How to manage the VCD size and scope? I've created an AutoPla...

MP3 Collector

I've used products from Collectorz.com for years to keep up with my CDs, books, and DVDs as well as MP3s. Their MP3 Collector is actually not as powerful as the Monkey for track and tag updating, but the reporting is very flexible, including HTML and XML generation, which I haven't seen elsewhere. S...
