Re: RegExp Find & Replace 4.3 w/ 253 presets (2011-07-06) [M

So, I just go to the Replace With field and delete everything in there and just add the date that I wish like this 29/12/2016 ?

Re: RegExp Find & Replace 4.3 w/ 253 presets (2011-07-06) [M

Thanks for the tips, MMFrLife.

Image

Why does it refer to "Encoded By" everywhere?
Also, it says that the Original Added is 29/12/2016. That's not right. MediaMonkey is displaying 02/01/2017.

What's the next step? :-?

Re: How To Change The "Added" Date

As MMFrLife already told you in that thread, you could do it by choosing the "Assign specified string to <Into Field>" preset and the "Added" field in the Into combo box. Enter the wanted date/time value in the Replace with combo box. This is what comes up when I select that preset from the track c...

Re: How To Change The "Added" Date

I need some help changing the "Added" date on a couple of tracks in MediaMonkey.

It has been suggested in this thread that RegExp Find & Replace can do it.

There might be an even better preset (no time to look for one now), but this one works fine. Ask questions about it in that thread.
I might try this if I can work it out. :)

Thanks for your replies, guys.

I will look into RegExp.
@Peke | Are you saying that there is a particular script I can use with it?

Re: Change The "Added" Date

Each change to filenames outside MMW will tell MMW that it is new tracks and thus you loose stats. Yes, I know I will lose stats. There was a reason why I need to do something outside of MM. But, my question is: Is there a way to change the Added date? I was able to change the Play Count. Can I do ...

Change The "Added" Date

I made a couple of small changes to a couple of tracks outside of MediaMonkey and lost the play data.

I managed to change the Played number using Add-Remove PlayStat, but am I able to also change the Added date to bring the tracks into line with the rest of the tracks on the album?

I'm liking MusicBee, guys.

Tag Safety

For me, the most important thing for a music player is tag safety.
Is it a tag safe application? Does it change tags without the users' knowledge?

Transfer Database Records To New Rip

I re-ripped an album to FLAC that was originally ripped to MP3. I am intending to delete the MP3 version and just use the FLAC version. Is there any way to transfer the album database information such as Date Added, Play Count etc from the MP3 version to the FLAC version before I delete the MP3 vers...

OpenLIVE

Hi guys.

I have used HDtracks for years for high definition music, but have recently discovered a similar site called OpenLIVE.
I haven't used it yet, but was wondering if anyone here has used it and what you thought of it.

Last.fm RSS Feeds

Something that I really missed when they upgraded the Last.fm website are the RSS Feeds.
It appears that the developers are not very interested in bringing it back, but xiffy developed his own.
