Re: What kind of MM user do you consider yourself?

It is probably not the answer that Lowlander was looking for when he posed the question over 16 years ago, but I consider myself a fanatical user who values highly my play history and ensuring my library is correctly tagged. I also value the quality of the music I play, and therefore, most of my mus...

MM5 Keeps Generating Thumbnails For Video Files [#16295] [#16287]

I don't have many video files.
The vast majority of my music is audio.

But each and every time I open MM5, it generates thumbnails for my video files.
Does this process have to be repeated every time? I haven't added any new video files in a very long time.

"Show All Sub Nodes" Not Working For Album Artists [#16258]

I just upgraded to v5.0.0.2220 Beta and enabled "Show All Sub Nodes", the little arrows beside the nodes are displayed, but when I click on the Album Artists node, there is nothing there. I tried removing the showAllNodes extension and restarting, but the Album Artists sub node still doesn't display...

Automatically Rotate Album Art [#16246]

As we know, MM has had the ability to add more than the front cover when tagging album art, and that is great. I have tagged most of my music with multiple album art. But it is no good if you can't view it. In MM4, I used MonkeyRok to auto rotate my album art. Can MM5 have the ability to auto rotate...

I am wondering if it's the ShowAllNodes addon that Via would like.

Next time it happens, I'll take note of what I was doing or what view I was in etc.

Hi Lowlander.

They look nice. I haven't heard of them before.
They look similar to the Audioengine HD6.

I'll do some research on them and check the specs.

Thanks. 👍

Great Sounding Computer Speakers

Hi all.

I am looking for some computer speakers.
Audioengine HD6 speakers seem to come up quite a bit when I am searching, but I am nowhere near decided yet.

What do you guys think are great sounding speakers to be played from a computer? 🔊

Re: how to select a group of albums in grid view ?

I hope you're not stuck in the Australian bushfires. :o Thanks ... is too early to tell. This is an unusually early start to our Fire Season. Several months still to go. We are at the top of a ridge, with trees leading to house. But this is a city of 400,000 people, so have better resources than sm...

Re: Easiest way to download music artwork?

I always download it manually from one of the high quality album art sites.

The other option is to scan and edit it yourself.

Re: how to select a group of albums in grid view ?

I understand that but what if i want to select a group of consecutive albums. I would expect a CTRL function to do this, but that does not work here. Sorry ... my crystal ball wasn't working ... probably all the smoke from our bush fires :) I hope you're not stuck in the Australian bushfires. :o
