Re: MegaDJ v2.52 [MM3] - (2010-03-31) (big DB bug fix)

2.52 giant bugfix complete (after a long break with the Mandelbulb for anyone who might be interested). As usual, download and update (preferably through the Tools -> Extensions window from Mediamonkey), and enjoy. Otherwise, install from the website . Once MegaDJ is installed, close Mediamonkey and...

Re: MegaDJ v2.51 [MM3] - (2009-08-30) (weighting filter bug fix)

Hi, I have access to 3 computers now, 2 XP systems, and one with Windows 7. It seems to currently work fine on my original Windows XP laptop (and with an earlier MM, fine on the XP desktop), but it now fails in the way you've described for the other two. I actually have some free time after a few cr...

Re: MegaDJ v2.51 [MM3] - (2009-08-30) (weighting filter bug fix)

Hi Patrick, currently, this isn't really possible unless you create a lot of nodes, and assign each artist to each node, and then rotate between them. You're not the first to ask this, so I'll see if I can prioritize this for later releases. On a more general note, I've recently bought a laptop with...

Re: Unregistering of events (on shutdown)

Thanks both! Have you tried storing the node that you attach the event to in "SDB.Objects" and then using that to unregister the event? Interesting, yeah I was thinking along those lines, but thought there must be an easier/more efficient way. Anyway, I'll stick with the "Script.UnRegisterEvents SDB...

Unregistering of events (on shutdown)

I'm in the process of updating my MDJ script and find that the latest MM causes a slight glitch when it's shut down. First off, is it 'safe' to use "Script.UnRegisterEvents SDB", or might that interfere with other scripts? Bear in mind that this is during shutdown of Mediamonkey, though I wouldn't w...

Re: MegaDJ v2.51 [MM3] - (2009-08-30) (weighting filter bug fix)

Okay, cheers guys. For anyone who uses AutoRateAccurate and would like to use it in conjunction with MegaDJ, then one can use the following queries for ratings: For 5 star, one can use this: rating>4.5 For 4.5 star, one can use this: rating>4.25 & rating<=4.75 For 4 star, one can use this: rating>3....

Re: MegaDJ v2.51 [MM3] - (2009-08-30) (weighting filter bug fix)

Hi and thanks! To achieve your desired playlist, you may want to try something like this in the math filter (don't forget to set math filter type to random). (rating+1) * lastplayedage * 1.5^((Year-20090000)/10000) The +1 is in the rating bit so so that 0 star tracks still have a chance of getting i...

Re: MegaDJ v2.51 [MM3] - (2009-08-30) (weighting filter bug fix)

All the MegaDJ nodes are stored in the MediaMonkey\Scripts\Auto\MegaDJ folder. Backup that for peace of mind :) You may want to backup the MegaDJ.vbs file just outside too (though that's just the program file which is stored online).

Re: MegaDJ v2.51 [MM3] - (2009-08-30) (weighting filter bug fix)

Hi! Sorry for the slow reply, as you may know I've been hectically working on 3D mandelbrots (!) lately in addition to work. I tend not to multitask very well, so it's hard for me to switch between projects easily. Yes it seems there could be a few ways to implement what you want, but nothing will r...

Re: MegaDJ v2.51 [MM3] - (2009-08-30) (weighting filter bug fix)

Version 2.51 out with the math/weighting/bias filter bug fixed for all (hopefully!). As usual, download and reboot MM after install is complete. It's not easy working semi-blind, but I managed to isolate the bug down to a NULL pointer dereference thingy :) A big thanks go to jcfogerty for helping ou...

Any way to code in the # column for custom nodes?

For custom nodes (example MagicNodes etc.), is there any program code so that the # column (that's usually present in standard autoplaylists) will appear?

Re: Turn off sorting?

I notice that clicking on the # symbol does what I ask, but unfortunately, this won't work with magicnodes etc. (which don't have the # column)

Re: Turn off sorting?

On Windows foldersm it toggles between sort up, sort down, and no sorting at all. On mediamonkey, it only toggles between sort up and sort down.

Are you saying I'll have to reboot Mediamonkey if I want the sorting to be turned off?
