Access Violation 0053BC53

Whenever I close the file properties window (either "Okay", "Cancel" or simply clicking the red cross) I get the following error: Access violation at address 0053BC53 in module 'MediaMonkey.exe'. Read of address 00000031. It doesn't matter if it is for a single or multiple tracks, nor whether I have...

Network Sync

I've had a quick search and haven't been able to find what I'm after. I currently sync from my main library to a shared library on a network drive (NAS), mapped with a drive letter and using d_USBMass1.dll. I now wish carry out another sync to a laptop on the network and have two questions as follow...

Re: Album Art Tagger 4.9 - Updated 27/02/2011

Okay, answering my own post. After playing around I found that option 5 "Remove Artwork Not Matching Storage" with "Embed In Tag" selected from the drop down menu achieves what I want! Not as obvious as "Remove Linked Artwork" but maybe I'm just getting old. Anyway thanks very much for this script a...

Re: Album Art Tagger 4.9 - Updated 27/02/2011

Has there been a reply to oeyoeve's post of almost a year ago? I too find that after accidentally selecting "Scan file directories for Artwork", I now have thousand of tracks with both embedded and linked artwork. I only wish to keep the embedded artwork so would appreciate an option along the lines...

Replace mp3 with flac in playlists

I've had a quick search but haven't quite found what I need and would appreciate any help. I originally ripped my CDs as mp3 and built numerous playlists from these tracks. I am now re-ripping as flac and would like to find a script/add-on that can automatically replace multiple mp3 tracks with thei...

Re: Corrupt Database

Sorry for the delay in replying but I've been away without internet access, how that hurt! Anyway, in the end I started from scratch and imported all the playlists in batches by importing their folder.

Thanks anyway.

Re: Corrupt Database

The splash screen is not really a problem. The problem is the database corruption. I know I can start from scratch as I have done this, however I am trying to save myself hours of work by trying to repair the database. There was no interruption to any database operation, just that MM3 seemed to corr...

Corrupt Database

I have my music library on both my laptop and desktop in order that I can not only listen to music while away but also to edit and organize. After a particular heavy editing session on my laptop, which involved converting a lot of my Apple lossless ripped CDs into FLAC, I synchronized the two librar...

Re: Album Art

You would have thought that there would be an upload link on the file manager page. Sigh.... You should have PM.

Incidentally, if there is even one mp3 track in an album of m4a files, when converted the album art is displayed for the new files in iTunes.

Thanks.

Re: Album Art

Forgive my ignorance but how on earth do you upload files to megupload. There is no obvious file selector nor any explanation in the FAQ. I'm getting old.

Re: Album Art

b) That is exactly what I have done but it changes back to "folder.jpg" by itself, sometimes days later. It doesn't appear to happen on my XP netbook, just my Windows 7 64 bit desktop. 2) I'll try to organise this tomorrow or possibly this evening before work. Any file upload service that you can re...

Re: Album Art

No, it's the embedded album art that iTunes doesn't recognise if the mp3 track has been converted from an m4a file. There are no separate album art files in the album folder.

Re: Album Art

Regarding b), I think you misunderstood me. I change the default "folder.jpg" in Tools > Options > Tags & Playlists to "Cover.jpg" and I can then paste album art to tracks and a copy will be saved as "Cover.jpg" in the album folder. However, after a time the default filename in the "Add Album Art" d...
