No, I do not have WinAmp installed. Should I?

Will post the plugins list momentarily, once I reinstall the mp4 plugins again (in midst of experimenting).

How weird. Even after a reboot, the .dll files are there, but are not showing up under TOOLS ... OPTIONS.

The m4a files now merely don't play--no error box pops up. I have the winamp.exe "fake" file in MediaMonkey folder as well. Any other ideas?

OK, Now I really feel like an idiot. I uninstalled MM, and reinstalled it. Now, I can't get new plugins to appear in TOOLS ... OPTIONS at all. What am I missing? Is there a setting somewhere to set the plugins directory?

How weird. I got all excited when I read this, jumped to Steegy's site, downloaded those files, put them in the plugin folder and ...

... same behavior. An empty error dialog box with an OK button comes up.

Any other ideas?

OK, I installed the second m4a from Steegy's page, and we have progress. Now, a couple m4a files play. Others, though, pop up a dialog box with the word ERROR at the top and an OK button. No error message, no nothing, just the box with the OK button.

OK, they show up now--had to remove, recopy, restart MM. What appears now under input plugins is

AudioCoding.com MPEG-4 General Audio Player.

But m4a files still don't play.

m4a Files Not Playing

Hi there! They just get skipped over and turn gray in the display list. I have * re-downloaded the plug-ins from the FAQ page, all of them. * removed those files, installed WinAmp, and copied the plug-ins from there. * removed those files, and re-downloaded the plug-ins from the FAQ page. No luck or...

Weird Leveling behavior

Hi there! I have MM set to level volume when I rip CD's. In the past, this has always resulted in the LEVELING field being blank. I just got a new EP, put it in ripped it, and the levelling field is filled in, and has somewhat extreme values (around -10 dB). I re-ripped it a few times, same result e...

Not Saving Album Artist Tag

I'm reorganizing my library and, as part of that, am making extensive use of the ALBUM ARTIST tag. In doing so, I have encountered a very strange bit of behavior: * If I change an Album Artist that is currently blank by typing in MM itself (that is, in the column), the change does NOT appear. The co...
