Re: How many "lifetime license" users out there?

I'm an audiophile and music lover, collector and hoarder... all types, genres, eras. More importantly, I'm a career DJ and heavily rely on playlists. A visible BPM field was critical for laying out set-lists. Scripts and add-on's make music prep and organization a cakewalk to what it could have been...

Re: for DJs show BPM tenth hundredth resolution [#3032]

And from yet another DJ: Add color-coding (it's been discussed, I know) and for gawd sakes, a Mac version! :P FWIW, I don't think the decimal on the BPM field isn't that critical. Most of the DJ pool tracks are tagged without decimal, and unless you're using some form of auto-mix, any decent beat-mi...

Auto-Sync & Playlist Issue with USB Mass Storage

I've configured my WD Passport to appear as a sync'able device and have it set to auto-sync with 13 playlists and 6 auto-playlists (which contain conditions from the 13 playlists). When I execute an auto-sync, only 4 playlists sync'd. When I manually "Send To > Device" a playlist, it syncs correctly...

Re: Color coding tracks

Any more on this? I'd really like to see this integrated.

Re: Gray Tracks (Not the usual!)

Oddly enough, all seems to be working fine now... and as relieving as that may sound, it actually pisses me off, because I'm a troubleshooter and part of me won't rest until I find out what the missing link was. I had found those links while searching through, before I posted here, but none of the s...

Gray Tracks (Not the usual!)

On different occasions, I run portable MM on my MacBook Pro with bootcamp (XP) with a mirrored back-up drive. I usually have to run the Move Device Content script because of the Serial/Volume ID. After that, it runs fine. Now I'm using the "original" master drive, and the entire library is grayed ou...

Re: Sorting within playlist by selecting multiple tracks?

Ya, I guess multiple playlists will be the way to go. It'd be great if sorting-by-selected-groups was a future feature.

Slightly off-topic, how can I sort an auto-playlist to appear exactly as the playlist that it's pointed to? I have no sorting selected, yet the tracks are shuffled.

Sorting within playlist by selecting multiple tracks?

Is it possible to sort multiple groups within a playlist by selecting multiple tracks (by column/header)? As I can see it, it's only possible to sort the whole playlist via the header(s) selected, which doesn't necessarily work for me.

Re: Color coding tracks

Two different threads (this current thread, and http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... rs#p274909) in two months... and it would've been a third if I hadn't searched for it first.

+1 for color coding for me. C'mon guys, let's give it the traction it needs!

Re: Missing library, .ini is correct, .db is there

Thanks. That did the trick. The .ini was recreated in the default location.

Re: Missing library, .ini is correct, .db is there

Hmm, correct me if I'm wrong (which is always a possibility!), but my .ini is in the portable drive. I followed all of the steps to move it, initially, and it worked fine. From http://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index.php/Portable_Mediamonkey Now, you should have a MM install on your device, your Media...

Re: Missing library, .ini is correct, .db is there

An idea I had was to start with a fresh .ini and just change the .db directory. I tried deleting the .ini, restarting MM hoping that it would make a fresh one, but there was nothing.

Missing library, .ini is correct, .db is there

I run a portable MediaMonkey, and have been doing so for a few years now. Everything worked fine, until, during auto-backup, I inadvertently yanked the external drive that houses MediaMonkey and media. Now when I start MM, it's acting as a fresh install, with no library or settings. I checked the .i...
