@ ultra.MAD Sorry, for the late answer . Unfortunately there's no easy way to do this in a general way. The special field modifiers like you can use in MM don't exist in EF. They will be added somewhere in the future but I can't promise when. @ Sperk The normal configuration for this is: Title...

The scripting help file (chm) isn't updated anymore, at least not for now. The latest scripting info (including the complete contents of the scripting help file) can be found from MediaMonkey's scripting wiki page . So it's best to get all scripting info from the forum and the wiki, as it's more cor...

IsAudioCD, CDDBId, or TOCData don't really matter. Everything works fine without them. The main reason for not filling in these database fields (at least CDDB and TOC) is that there's no real easy way for a script to get those values. Take a quick look at the MM database, and you'll see that in some...

If you drag the internal player to another location, it will become floating and will usually resize to something smaller (at least in width). (pressing the Ctrl-key when releasing the mouse button should prevent it from being docked, even if you have dragged it on top of a "docking place") Not all ...

Yes sure, there are already MM3 skins that have a smaller player. Try one of these, or if necessary modify one to perfectly suit your own taste. When MM3 is out, there'll undoubtly be more skins coming to life.

That said it's important to notice that because of this the ini file is not a standard INI file, as those don't have multiple sections with the same name. Confusing it is...

I'd rather have that the MM's embedder window can be docked to the floating internal player automatically (by MM), just as it happens with the now playing list.
That wouldn't require any change to the embedder script, plus it would all work completely automatically (including docking and resizing).

Ok, so the SDB.Tools. OutputDebugString ("Test1") and SDB.Tools. OutputDebugStringMM ("Test1") methods make WSHHelper needless on MM 3 . The second one only outputs messages to the debug API when MM itself is in debugging mode (beta/debug release). The debug message can be "trapped" using the DebugV...

What I meant is that you can add things to the wiki, or rewrite stuff so it is more understandable. If it's incomplete or not 100% correct, someone else (who might know exactly how it works) will see the updates and complete/correct them. Speaking for myself, I check the wiki's "recently changed" al...

Other part: You probably can't just add an empty SongData object to the library, because that doesn't have an album, artist, ... which it might need to be added successfully. Bottomline: If nobody knows, the only way to find out is to test it ourselves. Certainly with the introduction of the MM3 era...

UpdateAll would be the best way to do it, giving the fact that it does work 100% fine (which it doesn't, and this was found out later than my posting probably). UpdateAll should be faster because you update a set of songs, instead of each song separately. It also uses the choice of the user in the s...

Is there any particular reason you didn't "Set WB = Nothing" in CloseDown? Yes, because that's *completely* useless. Variable declarations that go out of scope (here the scope of the CloseDown procedure) are automatically gotten rid of (in virtually any programming language). Set X = Nothing is onl...
