I think MM3 (and almost all Windows software using an "built-in" browser) will keep using the IE rendering engine for some more years to come. Reasons should be obvious: everyone has it, and it's easy to use/interface with, and it's actually completely available (what can't be said about the Gecko e...

This interop dll is automatically created and linked to your project when you add the COM reference to MediaMonkey from withing Visual Studio/Express. It will use the COM interface for the MM version that was last installed. So don't create/download the dll and add it somehow to your project. The on...

I added the WSHHelper tip because it was mentioned by a trusted source (Peke) as tip on the forum here. Since Peke's site went down, the link doesn't work anymore (apparently). Maybe Peke can add the tip back if he still has a working link to WSHHelper (which may be a program created by himself). Wh...

Sure, inside the source code within "Function Fillin", add

Code: Select all

    Fillin = Replace(Fillin, "%F", Left(ThePath, InStrRev(ThePath, "\") - 1), 1, -1, 1)
at the end.

Thank you.
This question is regardring the track#/ Is there anyway to change the format into 2 digit form? Eg. instead of 1, to 01?
You mean you want to put the track# in another field (a text field), but fixed to 2 digits?

"MediaMonkey init.vbs" is included (each time) for each script that is executed. As it is merely included, the variables (constants) aren't "shared" with other scripts and you can't globally change them (therefore there's SDB.Objects). Variables defined for the complete script scope can be reached b...

Some constants (defined in "MediaMonkey init.vbs") are included by default for each script that is executed, as Trixmoto explained. Other constants that can be found in the scripting help have to be defined by yourself (better this than just using the values). Why I used this non-standard name at th...

There is indeed a built-in web browser in MM. Using scripts, you can control it (here's an example).

A new product from Apple: the iMailBox. It's a nice looking and easy to use mail box ... :) The fact that it can only deliver you mail from Apple Mail Service (and messes up other mail) is just a small detail. :-? Wow, this sounds frighteningly possible. For anyone who thinks this is way of topic a...

The script has been updated to v1.3 , making it possible to use parameter loops (as discussed above but implemented slightly differently). See the information on the first post to see how it behaves. Make sure to check (and if necessary update) your existing tools set within ExternalTools. External...

It doesn't work on MM3 because some internal script handling (and error handling) has been changed.
As it is now I don't think it's possible to make the script work for MM3. I'll take a good look and ask the MM devs for a re-solution.
