Re: Limiting Playback

That generally indicates that you have the AutoDJ enabled. Or some other DJ script running. Go into the Options and turn off the AutoDJ and that should eliminate the problem.

Re: printing playlists

You mean something like Lightscribe or some sort of file on the CD that has the playlist?

Re: Playlist Sources

I haven't seen anything that does this but... It doesn't sound too awful. Let me give it a shot. In the mean time, I use this mechanism to rediscover my music collection. It relies upon Last.fm's "similar artist" function to play tunes similar to the song you just listened to. If you set up the syst...

Re: ReplayGain tags issue

I hope it works well for you.

BTW, this tag issue can also cause problems in other programs like Sonar X1. If the tags aren't synced before you drag and drop you can get an Out of Memory Error. It's easy to correct in MM - just one of the many reasons I use it.

Re: ReplayGain tags issue

Generally that's true. The problem isn't MediaMonkey. The problem is the MP3s themselves. Essentially the tutorial has you clearing the tags completely and reapplying them to address any "corruption".

Re: Massive Amount of Duplicate Podcasts

Did the podcaster explain their rational for randomizing the file? I mean, if it's available via RSS then I don't see why you'd make linking to it tricky. Bizarre.

Re: ReplayGain tags issue

This is a common issue with tags in general. I had so much trouble with it that I wrote up this tutorial: http://djsizzly.com/content/synchronizi ... amonkey-3x

Re: Reverse Volume Leveling on source tracks

MP3Gain will allow you to manually set the gain increase/decrease. A couple of things though: 1. Every time you encode an mp3 it is very likely that you are decreasing it's overall quality - especially if you're increasing gain. 2. Increasing the gain using a batch program like that ('cause really d...

I think I'll give it a try again since I've kind of changed how I manage my music... It's all local now. I don't port it about.

Re: Tuneupmedia.......

I've tried Music IP Tagger too... It took SOOOOOO long to analyze my tracks that I kinda gave up on it.

I think it's cool. It LOOKS cool. Just haven't used it.

Re: Duplicates when add/rescan from mapped folder on VM

I'd hesitate deleting that MACOS directory... It might be necessary. Alas, I can't answer that 'cause I don't use Mac.

Re: Tuneupmedia.......

It does work on PC but when I tried it they only supported iTunes.

Evidently they have released a Winamp plugin which could potentially work with MediaMonkey.
