Re: Crossfeed

IF I understand your inquiry correctly-you are trying to listen to material that was originally recorded in an analog format. The only way that a "portion" of the signal would have be put on the other channel would be to PAN for effect. The master recording can have some signal bleed between channel...

Pantech Crux will not properly play tunes

This is an interesting problem. The Pantech Crux is a touchscreen "feature phone" from Verizon. It has a music player built into its software package. Transferring files from Media Monkey is not the issue itself. Just put the phone in USB Mass Storage Mode and follow the prompts or simply drag and d...

Re: Mediamonkey got reset on Windows 7

Check CCleaner in the Applications Tab-there is a check mark for Media Monkey that you must remove or you will continue to have this issue.

Re: How many "lifetime license" users out there?

Longtime Lifer (V2.4 or thereabouts). Media Monkey replaced what I was both paying & not paying for-when they went away. It also has the distinction of replacing most other "proprietary" organizers. We had had multiple brands of MP-3 players at the same time and thus supposedly needed different prog...

Re: startup delay

Have you tried a complete uninstall and clean install using a fresh copy of Media Monkey? That may solve your problem.
BTW: We cannot diagnose without knowing your version of Windows and general details about the machine (like amount of memory and processor).

Re: Repairing a music collection. Is MM right for me?

Basically-YES. Give Media Monkey a try. You will need toset up things to suit your needs. Others here can help you along with anything that is specialized. Personally, I simply allowed MM to scan my "My Music" folder and it found all of my MP3's. I use a different ripping program, but Monkey is perf...

Re: I want Itunes to be my default player. how do i change t

But-uninstalling Media Monkey removes its terrific database setup that no other program has.
Have fun integrating the Apple player as dreadlau suggests.

Re: Question about Ripping

Windows 7 64 bit is mentioned as the OP's operating system. Might I suggest that you try to resolve by trying to run MM with compatibility mode set to XP or another 32 bit mode. If that fails and you really like MM, as I do-then an alternate method would be to use FREE CDRipper from Koyotesoft as an...

Re: What OS Reqiured?

The program runs under XP, Vista and Win7. Some have used it with older (obsolete editions) as well. There is currently no direct way to use it with Linux-you must run it under Wine AFAIK.

Re: .Koz to MP3 conversion

I will assume that these are legal purchased downloads. You can play them on a player that can output the file as .wav, then convert to MP3. Hope that idea helps.

Re: How many tunes will the library hold

You said that you are reinstalling the files due to some sort of failure. Could be that MM has become corrupted as to ripping function. A quick way to test this is to run a Free standalone program ( what I generally do). You ripped files will be placed in a folder associated with the artist (what I ...

As to skins-my preference is Aqua and one of the brushed steel versions. These are light and you can easily set them up to your situation. As the above suggest-take a look in the Wiki for more ideas.

Re: Unusual Thought

There are several variants of what you are asking. The one mentioned above will work, or by putting the remote switches in parallel with "hot keys that you assign to a keyboard". Keep in mind that a broadcast board (I own one) cannot readily switch AC power from these switches and should never be us...

Re: Sansa Clip+ Playlist Creator

I agree that your solution is very simple. Personally, I like the other one and is not so cumbersome after one gets used to moving the m3u file to the root. The player is of itself a bit awkward and requires a very short/tiny learning curve as well.

Sansa Clip+ Playlist Creator

The "MSC playlist Solution Sansa Clip" by JwlzMT works like a charm. Thanks to you for this as it solves a problem that requires one to use other programs rather than MediaMonkey if it had not been created. It must be noted that several things happen with this player when in MSC mode. One cannot see...
