License Key won't find the lost Playlists. If you don't have a copy of the database files or the exported Playlists files you can't recover them.

Log is empty, can you share a new log that has the sync captured: https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewt ... 30&t=86643 as well as send a debug log from MMA right after sync fails and respond here with the logID.

Then you may want to try a Portable Install (in a different location) instead. Something, could be 2 instances or security software, is locking the file.

https://lockhunter.com/ can help find what is locking the file.

Did you maybe have multiple instances of MediaMonkey running (as seen by Task Manager)?

Tools > Extensions opens just fine here.

If you don't backup the database or export the Playlists (to a different drive) you will loose the Playlists when the drive dies, just like you loose everything else that's on the drive and not copied to a different drive.

You need to enter the License Username and License Key exactly as provided on purchase. Did you copy & paste from the email or login to the purchase site to view it? For License issues you can email support@mediamonkey.com. Without the database you can't recover Playlists, without the files or datab...

Tools > Options > Tags & Playlists has the option to save tag changes to file.

The Playlists a file is associated with is shown on the Properties > Classification tab and here they can be removed from the shown Playlists too (excluding AutoPlaylists). As far as License you need to enter the correct License Username (usually full name) and correct License...

Check the files on the disc before you Rip and make sure that it shows all the tags for the files on the disc.
