MMPortable in the Notification Area
Hi there, This has happened in all versions of MMPortable so I switched to using the MicroPlayer instead. But now that MicroPlayer has been disabled in MMPortable, I am stuck with this problem again. I'm using Windows 7. I have MMPortable set to 'Close to tray'. I don't have the notification area se...

Re: [1451] Where has MicroPlayer gone?
Rusty, that would be awesome if it could be re-introduced for MMPortable. I miss the MicroPlayer!

Re: [1451] 'Close to tray' icon missing.
Or change the wording in Options - if it's going to "close to microplayer" don't call it "close to tray".
In fact there should be two completely different options, one for "close to microplayer" and another for "close to tray", especially now that microplayer has been disabled in MMPortable.

Re: Type is automatically set to Classical in MM4
I know how you feel, Onweerwolf, I have the same problem with new Music Videos being automatically classified as Videos by MM. I do what Lowlander suggests to "change the Collection rules" and include Videos as part of my Music Video library criteria. Then, so that I don't have to "remember to undo ...

Re: Playlist in Main Window 1.1 (2009-06-18)
Thank Nyn, I'm using a custom column renamed to PlaylistCount. I don't know which version started this behaviour so can't say how far back it goes.

[1451] 'Close to tray' icon missing. [#6764]
Hi there, In MMPortable, when using the 'Close to tray' option, MM closes to the tray but there is no icon so can't be restored. MM is still running in Task Manager and has to be closed from there. The only way to have the icon visible is to also use the 'Always show tray icon' option. In MM standar...

Re: [1451] Where has MicroPlayer gone?
OK, upon further investigation, I found this in the changelog for [1451]: ID: 0008584 Summary: MicroPlayer: fails to respond / triggers freezes when run on startup (regression) So I clicked the link to the bug report page for 0008584 and at the bottom is this: Fixed in 1451 (disabled micro player fo...

[1451] Where has MicroPlayer gone?
Hi there, I've just installed 1451 and "Change to MicroPlayer" is no longer visible in the drop down menu (next to the minimise, maximise, close buttons). Is this correct? Cheers.

Re: Playlist in Main Window 1.1 (2009-06-18)
Hi Bex, I'm currently using MM4.0.0.1439 and the playlists are no longer displayed in the chosen column (or in the Properties field). I have tried: 1. Options / Activate/Update 2. Playlist node / Rebuild PlaylistsNames in Main Window 3. Change chosen column and Activate/Update 4. Uninstall then re-i...

Re: Opening MediaMonkey.chm
Thanks BitPusher, I know I can do that but I would rather be able to access it from the within the program. And, as you say, when you're not actually connected to the internet you can't use help at all. No, not much 'help' at all.

Re: Album art issues and consequential error messages
Sorry Rusty, I have absolutely no idea but I suppose that could be the case. Unless I actually come across some of the tracks so I can tell when they were added, I have no way of checking. Don't really fancy going through every track I have just to check :-) But for sure I will let you know if I do ...

Re: Files To Edit / Multiple Artist Albums
Do you see the same after File > Maintain Library with full optimization and unused Artist and unused Album removal? Sorry Lowlander, I should have included that. Yes I had done a full optimization. A empty folder that no longer exists on my computer: http://img40.imageshack.us/img40/2586/201109251...
