Re: Summary column in AutoPlaylist will not stay hidden

What view? I can't reproduce. The steps in OP always result in the symptom for me, other steps reveal similar problems. I am not sure if it is a single bug of not storing the state properly or something with multiple problems in the same conceptual part of the code (i.e. columns and playlists). It ...

It may well be related.

Summary column in AutoPlaylist will not stay hidden [#7120]

I created a new AutoPlaylist in MM4; after it populated I started setting up the columns, hiding the Summary and other columns I did not wish to see. I then switched to the "Music" node and did the same hiding Summary and others. Switching back to my AutoPlaylist I noticed that the Summary column ha...

Re: closing Track Browser does not persist after restart

Figured it out. MM4 was picking up an AutoPlaylist from MM3. I saw the note that they might not be seen but thought that if it picked it up and used it all was well. I ended up deleting the MM3 AutoPlaylist and recreating it (got bit because I used the same name the first time and all my work was lo...

closing Track Browser does not persist after restart

When I close Track Browser then exit MM4 it is there again when I restart. This is not happening in MM3. Is there a setting I am missing or a conflict with MM3's settings?

Re: 1343 - Mediamonkey crash when seeking through song

MM3 often (always??) did something like this (complete crash--no keyboard, no mouse, had to push the reset button) to me when I quickly moved the control from very near the beginning of a tune to extremely near the end. It was the first thing I tried in MM4 and it did NOT exhibit the problem. 64-bit...

Increment "played count" in database more often

I have never had MediaMonkey crash on me -- it is incredibly stable! However, it must coexist with less mannerly programs. From what I can determine, MediaMonkey does not update the database information for "played count" unless it exits normally. I do not know if the database file supports easy upd...

I grabbed it this morning but I won't have time to look at it until tonight. I skimmed through that thread and it looks like it's a great script! Thanks!

Clear played #

Sometime last night, MediaMonkey, while minimized to the taskbar, decided to start playing songs. The speakers were off, I was asleep so I missed hearing a lot of tracks on my playlist. I still want these songs come up in the random shuffle of that playlist which is set to play only those songs who'...

Re: Some iTunes-created metadata not read in MM

What file types do you have Genre issues with MediaMonkey? I know I am coming late to this thread, but it's not that old! I too had problems with MediaMonkey recognizing specific tags. I am using iTunes to import my CD collection; at the present time there are over 60,000 tracks on my hard drive. I...
