Re: MediaMonkey Crashes...
Is this really fixed, or at least handled? Last time I used MM it was crashing trying to import my library from my Drobo (both from a Native Windows install with driver for the HFS+ formatted drive, and from a Windows VM that had read/write access to the Drobo) because of some really long path/file ...

Re: MM for Mac - I just switched to Apple
I'd still love this, particularly if it worked without the restrictions of the file path length that Windows has. Mediamonkey (via Windows or HW or in VMWare) can't cope with long file paths & track names and just crashes MM when it's scaning the library.

Re: Running MM under Mac OS X with Wineskin
What licensing issues? Things like File format support? There are other music players available and a new one (Vox) is about to be released which runs in Sandbox mode so that it can go on sale via the Mac App Store. But you don't have to sell via the Mac App Store if you don't want to, and if you do...

Re: Running MM under Mac OS X with Wineskin
Will do, I've swapped to trying on my Mountain Lion machine rather than my Mavericks machine.
On Mavericks, I got it installed and launched as part of the install process but then couldn't run it there after.

Re: How do I install Media Money on a mac?
Any solution of running MM on Mac or Linux is crap But in spite of the amount of request they have received they don't see the light. Really a pity for there is a lot of users willing to pay for the gold version for Mac... The problem is, depending on what the code is like there is a lot of enginee...

Re: Running MM under Mac OS X with Wineskin
Curses. Why didn't I find out about this sooner :/ I gave up checking on MediaMonkey for Mac a few years back and just been tolerating iTunes. Unfortunately the MM4.0.0.1459 doesn't run on OS X 10.9 (Marvericks Beta 1). First attempt started and died, second died in quartz-wm. Going to try and build...

Re: MM for Mac - I just switched to Apple
MM is the only thing I miss from using Windows. iTunes really is a bit of a kitchen sink but its passable, though I'd still rather have MM.vpsaxman wrote: MM is one of many reasons why I stay with Windows.

Re: MM for Mac - I just switched to Apple
Jiri that is great to hear that there may be progress soon on Media Monkey for other platforms.
MM is the only piece of software from Windows that I miss, iTunes really does not cut mustard.

Re: MM for Mac - I just switched to Apple
Just wanted to add my voice, iTunes (even v9 which is more of the same) continues to drive me mad. I would gladly pay again to get a Mac Native version of MM. I miss it dearly

Re: Media Monkey for Mac?
Curious does MM just play MP3's on the Mac or can you also play AAC's & WMA files? Currently trying to repeat what you did but MM not starting for me. Did in WinXP bottle but not in the Win2k bottle. ----- EDIT UPDATE ---- Had to uninstall MM and reinstall. First time I turned off the override windo...

Re: Lifetime license
I bought the Lifetime updates licsense from MusicMatch & look what happened: They sold out to Yahoo Music, and although they are honoring the MuMtch license. The program is so bad that I gave up on it [Yahoo]. In essence I lost my money. Caution is advised. Possibly but I guess for many of us here ...

Re: MM3 Gold available for buying
*grin* Why not get the gold lifetime license its only a few bucks more and you will get all new versions forever! The Ki wrote:Hi Guys,
Just wondering when MM3 Gold should be available for buying. I can't wait to buy it and don't want to pay a license for the MM 2.5.5 for now.

Yes, it works more like text/web documents searching (so that it prevents from changes to your NP list). Certainly to me as a user that is not obvious behaviour and contradicts all the other views which appear to behave consistently for search. I would argue that it is also not consistent with text...

B1 - Search Problems in Now Playing
I am finding the search function using the Now Playing view, to not be working like other views. First if I have all my music (19362 tracks) playing and then select Now Playing in the left hand tree. When I type something into the search box it selects (scrolls the page) to one or two entries that m...
