album art search and folders

I find that a lot of album art is in my mp3 folder, but MM didn't find it.
Is there any way to tell MM: go to all folders, get the name, and if there is a jpg with the same name in the album art folder, assign it to the music in that folder?
THanks

look at this:

" amaroK seems to have slightly better support for getting album art and lyrics than MediaMonkey."

Where do they get covers from? last.fm? Is it possible? Have MM dev. people tried this?

NIce, but I'd still like ctrl + wheel anywhere. The volume slider is too small

trixmoto,

There was a trojan detected by F-secure using your installer. Probably it's a false alarm, but it's worth checking...

I'm a bit confused. What exactly have you measured, was it search using Quick-search bar? What exactly are the numbers? I can only add that for the next MM release we plan some big improvements and all will probably be significantly faster. Jiri yes, Quicksearch bar. The numbers are starting and en...

search speed test

Hi, One of the most important factors for me to choose a player is speed. There is a big difference between waiting for 1-2 seconds and >10 seconds. More so in large collections. Has anyone performed a search speed test (cmparison)? I come frm Jriver MC, and I'm finding it faster than MM (!). Exampl...

I moved from Jriver media center just because of: (1) amazon tagging (2) scripts (3) integration with audioscrobbler BUT, I have to say that I have timed the searches in MC and MM and MC is faster. About twice as fast (!). I have 162 Gb of music, in many formats, but mainly ogg. Can someone post the...

indexing non-music files (e.g. pdf) is it possible?

Hi,

I was a former user of Jriver MC. I love MM!
However, I was used to indexing non-music files (e.g. pdf) with MC> is it possible in MM? How?

Thanks
