Re: Looking for addons
I have a future task set for myself to fix all the artwork that isn't a 1:1 ratio as well and have also been thinking about how to best approach this. I'm not sure a script functionality already exists within MM to filter out the problematic entries. However, I do know you can use the Album Art Tag...

Re: Looking for addons
Cool, will use that for finding, I'll manually change the files though, especially since those find/replace terms look like gibberish to me. I use that program for simple stuff like replacing '(featuring ' with '(feat. ' but no idea how to use all those ([\w\xDf-\... terms I see in the example. :D I...

Looking for addons
Looking for some addons, or, if it's a feature already, how to do it... First, looking for a find. I used the find/replace many times, but right now I want to do a find for a keyword in 1 field only. Whenever I have a song that features another artist, I will set it up as Artist (feat. Artist) - Son...

Re: Advanced Duplicate Find & Fix 3.8.1 (2012-11-10)
Thanks... not sure how I missed it... but I did. :D Great script(s)... My library is pretty clean, but had a few stragglers of singles that were also in compilation albums. Being able to search by title/artist was good, even better was being able to tell it to only show songs that were no more/less ...

Re: Advanced Duplicate Find & Fix 3.8.1 (2012-11-10)
I just installed this onto 4.06.1501 and can't seem to figure out where it is. Clicking all over and not finding it. :S

Re: Tagging files with proper dates
Hmm, not shabby... works pretty good, tested a few oldies and such and seems to find them, even finds a few things Amazon can't when running the web-updater.

Re: Tagging files with proper dates
Manually is the most accurate but sadly, I am talking about 10,000 files. My collection started back around 1996 when MP3's were still pretty new to most people. Always kept them well organized and named, but, never bothered with album art, just Artist, Title, Track and if not a single, Album... dec...

Re: Tagging files with proper dates
Agreed... source is always the failing point. Not certain if I can add new sources, all this time when tagging I been using Amazon.com and sometimes Amazon.ca since I'm Canadian and well, have some Canadian stuff not commonly found on Amazon.com. Thought/hoping maybe there's a script that will use a...

Tagging files with proper dates
Tried searching since I'm sure someone has asked this before but, couldn't find what I was after. Organizing a HUGE database, mostly done now, but, been having a problem since day one... getting proper dates. Seems that when auto-tagging from web, it looks at the release date of the CD on Amazon vs ...

Re: Album Art Tagger 5.1 - Updated 23/10/2012
Any suggestions on a good easy way? I see that I can export as a specific size, and name after different fields... just wondering which field would be best and cause the least screw ups when importing them again. For example, export based on ID? Album wise won't be so much an issue... I'm looking mo...

Find/Replace Ability?
Is there a way to find/replace words in fields? For example... In my library I have a lot of files under artist, where is shows "Artist (feat. Someone)" Thing is, sometimes it says Featuring, Feat, feat, feat., etc... too many variations... was looking for a find/replace option to help me look for w...

Re: Album Art Tagger 5.1 - Updated 23/10/2012
This is great! I screwed my database up a bit, came across this and saved me a LOT of work. I noticed it had an image extract/resize option, just wondered, is there a way to resize the image in the tag? I have a folder of about 1,000 singles and ideally I want to batch process and have all images re...

Re: Cleaning up images not stored in tags
They don't make finding info easy do they? I see a lot of scrip posts, but, not a basic/simple 'how to' for adding. File I saved off that guy's site was "AlbumArtTagger51.mmip". I am assuming I have to copy/paste it into the "C:\Program Files (x86)\MediaMonkey\Scripts" folder? do I need to change th...

Re: Cleaning up images not stored in tags
Hmm... maybe... I use the auto tag from web and auto organize features in MediaMonkey and that's it. :D Basically just got it to clean up a BIG pile of MP3's that were named fine but missing details/artwork. So, no idea how the scripts work. I'll have to give it a try (when I figure how) on a few fi...
