Re: Command line and time the libary indexing

Will there be a line where I can copy an address of a file into and go directly to it? If you right click 'copy' it will copy the file's path/filename to the clipboard. You can also right click > find more from same > folder (explorer) to open a explorer window of that file's folder. The indexing o...

Command line and time the libary indexing

Will there be a line where I can copy an address of a file into and go directly to it?

Checking the Preferences, it seems to me that it's not possible to switch the indexing process off at the start of MM. The only thing you can do is to remove all the maps you have listed for this. That makes it more difficult to switch it on. You can list the maps you want to index again or you have...

Agree :( It's the indexing process that eats so much memory... Copernic Desktop Search (f.e.) is doing the same thing... but starts the index after a few minutes without activity and stops if you strike your keyboard or mouse. Wise XP users switch the hd indexing possibility of XP off for better per...

The search option of MM works fine in the way it works :) because MM makes an index of your music files, it scans you hd. This process can be switched off. But than MM will miss the changes you gonna make. New music files will not be shown and removed or deleted files will be displayd blind and unpl...
