Re: Art + Details view scrolls FAR too quickly

That's weird, thanks both of you for replying. Nope, no issues in other programs whatsoever. I did recently open up a support ticket for someone to have a look at my db for issues, but I don't think this can be anything to do with it, because it's more of a program function than db issue (I think!)....

Re: Art + Details view scrolls FAR too quickly

Really? Just to check - your mouse is set to scroll ~3 lines at a time, and then in Art+Details view with at least say 20 albums, when you scroll down (with all the albums unexpanded), it doesn't jump three albums down (or whatever the mouse is set to)?

Art + Details view scrolls FAR too quickly

When browsing the library in Art + Details view, using the mouse scroll wheel results in great big jumps. I think this is because you set your mouse wheel in your OS to scroll a certain number of lines at a time (eg 3), but MM registers the whole album as a line rather than each song. So, if like me...

Nope, no column/tree sharing enabled.

Re: Unable to hide Series/Title column in certain playlists

That gets rid of the column in the Music node, as it should, but not in the Playlists.

In the Video node it can be enabled, but it displays the same information as Summary (Art View), which it shouldn't.

Something seriously wrong here - can you not replicate it?

Re: Unable to hide Series/Title column in certain playlists

Yes, the Series/Title column is permanently displayed in the Music collection - it is greyed out, so I can't remove it. I've just realised that in the Video collection it is not displayed, and the option to hide/remove the column is still greyed out, so I can't show it. Anyone else able to replicate...

Unable to hide Series/Title column in certain playlists

There are various audio playlists in which I am unable to hide the Series/Title column, which (I think) is intended for viewing video files. It appears in playlists when the View As = Music, and disappears when View As = Entire Library (for autoplaylists, replace 'View As' with 'Search'). This is de...

Now playing summary not independent of library view [#8936]

The summary format for individual files in the now playing list should respect the $viewmode=3 argument, as it is included as the default, but it doesn't. Instead, the summary format in the now playing list is simply equal to whatever is displayed in the library. For example: (it would be a weird fo...

Auto resize of columns in Now Playing list

It would be great if the Now Playing columns would automatically resize to the maximum allowable display when the window size changes. For example, the column browser automatically resizes to the screen dimensions. I know it's a different kind of thing but it would be great if the Now Playing list a...

Re: Double-clicking the title bar ends MediaMonkey

Damn, not noticed this before. It only works (well, up!), as the OP says, when MM is in the secondary monitor. If it makes a difference, my primary monitor is actually the external one connected to my laptop, and the laptop screen is the secondary monitor. Can't believe I've not realised this before...

Re: 'Locate Moved Files' not able to cope with large collect

That may be quicker, but unfortunately it's not the way all the regular documentation says to do it! And it really *should* work regardless - it's not an extra feature request, it's a shortcoming of a current one. I would send a debug log, but unfortunately all is good now and I don't have the time ...

'Locate Moved Files' not able to cope with large collections

I recently formatted my computer, and have not been able to get my MM library back to it's usual state. Here's what I did, with the problem at the end: 1. Using MM 4.0.2, moved the database to Dropbox, and pointed MediaMonkey.ini to it (it has been there for months with no problem - quite handy for ...

Re: Summary displaying unknown

If you don't want to edit it loads of tags either manually or with a script, you could change the first line of Art view settings in options -> playback rules to $if(<Album Artist>,<Album Artist>,<Artist>) - <Album> which would result in the first line (in Summary (Art view)) reading "Album Artist -...

Re: Parameters/functions for Summary Titles (in Playback rul

Hey, I came back to look at this and it seems like that list of commands is primarily for creating separate outputs for single files, rather than a single output for a set of files (ie album) (which makes sense because the list is for creating file names). For example, there is no way of searching t...
