Making an OS is a lost cause. Microsoft won and basically I am ok with that.

Are you taking bug reports still?

MM 3 is locking up at times are you still working on 3? If not can someone check this. This started after installing Last.FM plugin. I have a clean install of Windows XP/sp 2 I had to reinstall everything so there should be nothing left over from RC releases to conflict with the latest release of mm...

doing nothing sometimes it may return a list but, most times nothing shows. I reinstalled seems to be working now. I wish MM team would add searching text by the player like in the RC's so I know if it is doing something or not. In RC 5-6 it would say searching... now it says nothing. scratch that g...

Fixed:What is wrong with search?

The release version search is broken! I type whatever nothing coming up. However if I look under artist or library I can access the songs.

Didn't have this issue with RC6.

It was a gift and works great on wav's and mp3's files. Mp3's is the format of choice for me anyway.

My friend had some wav's I loaded on it to test it. I personally wouldn't by a mp3 player. I love music but see no need for one.

It is a USB mp3 player put it in acts like a usb flash drive drag and drop music on to it and then take it with you.

No sync cr_p. 1gb = 486 songs 1 AAA battery 10 hours. so I have some rechargeable.

MP3 wins no other formats for me

I have an 2nd hd which is a 250GB hard drive filled with 21,000+ files and the total use was 155GB. I converted close to 1400 flac files to mp3 foormat and regain 35GB.

I saw some flac files were 50+ mb it is freaking nuts. I am one of those people who can't tell 128 from 360 anyway.

I could careless when they release a retail version keep it like Newleecher. NewsLeacher is my favorite usenet reader and they keep it in RC forever. I think the highest I see was like RC 19 for a version once then two week later they will have beta 1 of the next version.

Rusty:Can you speed up adding files?

MM3 RC-6 seems to take forever adding files. I have no idea what the heck MM3 is doing but it is way slower compare to other RC releases and or even MM2 for that matter.

I know I have 21,000+ track (did a track report pretty kewl) but it should be a tad faster.

On my 250GB hd I got 21,000+ taking up 151GB. I have 86 GB open.

I really want a 1TB ext HD. Maybe it not taking Artwork, lyriics etc in consideration when it came up with that 40,000 figure.

Looking at prices it is like $200 for a 2-4gb Ipod. do they shrink size of mb when adding music? I saw a 80gb one for $3?? said it hold 40,000 MP3's or 200 hours of video.

That seems like it is not real numbers.

what good is an Ipod?

I may get a Ipod for Christmas but why would I want one really? I got a 250GB hd with 33,000+ mp3's not really sure don't know how to check MM for total but it is close. I am not saying Ipod are bad but what's the point when I can have a MP3 jukebox hard drive for less $$. My PC is also hooked into ...
