Re: WLRN Streaming

A funny thing happened on the way to the net. I ended up using my office computer as I was doing a scan on my laptop. While there I decided to try the WLRN url I posted here in the MM I have on that computer. It wouldn't work. I then tried a couple of stations that I listen to and those didn't work....

Re: WLRN Streaming

Just got home and tried the links in MM3.03.1183 and both worked. Check your file associations in MM options. The WLRN is a wma file and the other one appears to be a mp3 stream. I seem to recall someone before having a problem after updating their Windows OS. Perhaps one of the other posters here r...

Re: WLRN Streaming

Hard to say right now. I had both of these working in my MM last night. Perhaps you can describe what is happening when you try to run them.

Re: WLRN Streaming

Copy and paste the following into the "open URL" dialog box - mms://live.friendsofwlrn.org/WLRNstream/.wma This should run for you. You will not see any information in the player or the Now Playing pane but there will be a number 1 in the Now Playing pane. Make a new playlist and call it WLRN and th...

Re: Sending music only to receiver

Try this - Check in the windows control panel under sounds for an option to use the pc speaker and select that if it is available. Then open the options for MM and go to the output plugin. Choose configure and then select you sound card instead of the "primary sound driver' selection.

Re: Audiophile digital music setup

Using an external sound card instead of an internal one would help with noise as computers are inherently noisy places, that is electrical noise, and this can show up in audio. I really couldn't recommend any as they are outside of my budget and priority at the moment but some searching online shoul...

Re: Sync podcasts to a speciffic folder?

The default global location for podcasts is- C:\Documents and Settings\Your name\My Documents\My Music\Podcasts\<Artist>-<Title> So, I do not see anyway that you can set a location for one podcast versus another. There are some options you can choose when you subscribe to a podcast I seem to remembe...

Re: Copying Music

I don't use this feature a lot so I lack the familiarity with it but I believe you can use the auto-organize to accomplish this. I believe it is a matter of setting up the right mask for the destination. Also, If the music on your jump drive is already set up in this format you can simply copy the t...

Re: HP DV7 remote compatability with MM

If all else fails, you can go over to Winamp and do a search for "remote". There are about 3 pages of ir remotes that come up. You might get one of these to work. If you can't get the HP remote to work you might be able to use some other remote to work.

Re: Insignia Sport...........Problem?

You can try and look at the device using Windows Explorer, assuming you are using windows, and then once the device is selected open the folder options through the tool menu and then select "show hidden files and folders'' via the view tab.
