When a track if greyed out, it means the song is either not there anymore in the same place, or has been deleted. It could mean your MM was reading the songs on your device, and when you unplugged the device, the songs weren't "there" anymore, and thus were greyed out.

I have the same problem, so I feel your pain. When I make radical changes I've had to just clear the entire library and start over to make sure every song is picked up at times.

This is likely my favorite script for MediaMonkey. So glad you've upgraded it to MM3, Trixmoto.

Huh, that's odd. When I go to album version by itself, it's together. But it's back to separate when I look at it through a playlist. I like looking at all my soundtracks through a playlist when I look for them, but that must be where it's dividing them and making it tedious to scroll through. Also,...

I have tried putting various both ways, neither work. Various in both categories, various in just one, etc. Either it's a glitch, or I'm clearly missing something I can't figure out. I'd like it to read the composer's name in both categories, which doesn't work, as the album is by one composer and n...

Oh, and I did change to various to see if that worked as per the above poster, but the same problem. I don't want it tagged various anyway, because I want the artist name to be linked to on my MP3 player when I transfer over.

I'm having the same problem and it's driving me insane. For instance, I have the soundtrack to A Nightmare on Elm Street. It's listing it in 2 different albums, and I don't see why. I have manually copied and pasted each tag information into each album to make sure they match perfectly per character...

If you like Pandora, you should certainly jump on last.fm. It's more advanced with many other options to find new music. Just ignore the social elements if you're not interested in that aspect.

I dont have a problem with playlists, strangely. I always just click on the playlist, then right click and send to sansa, and it always works perfectly. Sorry others are having so many problems, maybe try switching modes if you haven't.

Thanks for your answer :) I do suspect I have a virus (anyone with cable now of days always seems to, even if they never know it). The computer shuts down, especially with any music orientated activity, including just youtube, any mp 3 song on a website, media monkey, etc, etc. Nothing can be found ...
