Re: Debug as hidden option instead of separate version

Ok to be on point .. In some languages having all the debug logic including linemarks vars etc make programs larger and slower. As to my knowledge, in any language you can have files that won't be used in certain situations depending on how you program it. So when the debug is turned off, it won't ...

Re: Debug as hidden option instead of separate version

This happens with a lot of sw .. either use a very bad installer or an attempt to save information you might want in the future. I would suggest you get Revo Uninstaller Pro (i think they have a freeware version that isn't bad). It captures the whole install process and the uninstall is really quit...

Add-on installation error

When you install some add-ons to all users (unchecking "instal for current user only" checkbox), there's an error message saying that the add-on "was not installed". If you restart Mediamonkey, the add-ons appear to be installed. Affected add-ons: Codec Pack Trial, Inline Lyrics, Lyric Timer. Codec ...

Re: Debug as hidden option instead of separate version

If you ever tried to completely uninstall Mediamonkey, you know how horrible it is at cleaning up it's stuff. There are a lot of extra files/registry settings that you need to clean with your own hands (some of important stuff isn't even mentioned in the wiki guidelines). This means that every insta...

Debug as hidden option instead of separate version

I'd like to have the debug functionality in the regular version as a hidden option, that you can turn on and off, instead of a separate version. My reasons for this are: When you have a bug in your installed version, there's no guarantee that it will be in the debug portable version, or that you'll ...

And another thing I just found:
higliting of the lines doesn't go past line #100. It just stops on the line #100.

Re: Lyric Timer 4.0 - Updated 03/08/2014

The first two are just how MM works, it allows access to tracks in the library and stores the details in the database. Whether or not it writes them back into the file, and what tag is used, is controlled by MM, not my script. But isn't there a way not to involve the library and just use the metada...

Re: Lyric Timer 4.0 - Updated 03/08/2014

Well, I finally got around to test this plugin a little. So, here's the list of issues: The plugin sees only those files that are in library, or other files if you run them while a file from library is playing. In other cases it just ignores the file. The plugin doesn't really save the timestamped l...

Artwork in the player area doesn't refresh

When you play a track without artwork after a track with artwork, the artwork in the player area shows the artwork from previous track instead of showing default no-artwork image.

Re: Sync pictures?

We're taking about copying files. MM uses the Media Transfer Protocol to copy files and this handles images fine. MM can and does copy images. The only problem is that it puts them in a Music folder. I'm assuming the feature is only there for the files that have their covers in the folder and not i...

Re: Sync pictures?

Notice the name of the app. MediaMonkey. Not MusicMonkey. And the second part of that title is "Monkey". Would you also suggest to turn the program into a monkey? (Just a little joke. No offense) But seriously. The purpose of the program is pretty clear. It's for organizing and playing media...

Lowlander wrote:Are you talking about the Art & Details view? You can disable the contracted view in the first place.
Yes, I know. Disabling it is a workaround, but not a solution, for when I'm not editing the files, I like to keep the albums/series contracted.

Don't let mediamonkey contract albums after a file edit

After editing a file tags, Mediamonkey contracts expanded albums/series, which is annoying when you're editing a long series file by file and have to expand it and look for the next file each time you change a file tags. It would be really helpful if Mediamonkey could remember expanded state of albu...

Expanding/contracting albums/series on double click on cover

Hi,

I have a series that has 200+ episodes. In Art&Details view, when the series is expanded I have to scroll all the way to the bottom of it's long list to contract it, which is somewhat troublesome.

It would be nice if we could expand/contract grouped series/albums on double click on their cover.

Re: Undocked option for panels/windows

Yes, actually your idea is closer to photoshop's panels behavior than mine, and if it's done just like in photoshop, maybe it would be even better.

I think this youtube video illustrates it best:
