Re: When doing search .. put results in new tab

Why do you think so many programs to launch search results in new window or tab? ... like what? Google Chrome... no. Firefox... no. Internet explorer... no. Windows explorer... no. Firefox has this ability, but it's somewhat hidden: http://en.kioskea.net/faq/13440-firefox-always-open-search-result-...

Is that the same thing as the File List?
Apparently, yes :)
I remember this feature from Winamp. Was using it all the time.

Re: The ability to change the tabs' order

Not just drag tabs around to order but also a "lock" feature. In that case it would also be wise to change Media Tree nodes' behavior from "open in the current tab on single-click" to "open in a new tab on double-click". But since the first post in this thread is 2011 I doubt that the developers re...

The ability to change the tabs' order

When you have several tabs opened, you can't change their order unless you close all the tabs and open them in the right order. It gets kind of annoying. I think it would be a good improvement to have the ability to change the order of tabs.

Drag&Drop to the library panel (not Media Tree)

As someone who doesn't use Media Tree at all, I'd like to see the ability to Drag&Drop files directly to the library panel, and not to one of the Media Tree nodes.

Change Windows registry value "[EXT] Audio File" for videos

When Mediamonkey associates files with itself, all of them have this line that describes their extensions: http://s020.radikal.ru/i717/1404/c4/359736079e01.jpg But it doesn't look very nice when you see "[EXT] Audio File" for video files (this looked especially funny when I extracted avi video strea...

Re: Layout/Skin/Skinning engine bugs?

Updates about the issue #2 (from my support tickets): To me the title looks fine maximized only in 2 situations: 1.When you have just applied the skin but didn't restart Mediamonkey. In this case you'll notice that the window doesn't have any icon at the top left corner, where it should be. After yo...

Re: Layout/Skin/Skinning engine bugs?

Starting to look like resizing issue with win shell where it doesn't change non win skin images correctly. Well, you're not that far off, apparently. Here's what one of the developers said about the issue: Hi, I have been able to see it on one very old MMW skin and the problem is that overlay image...

Make dropdown lists separate for music and video files

When you tag a file, for some fields you can choose existing options from a dropdown list. But this gets quite messy as these lists see no difference between tags from video files (for example: series) and tags from music files (for example: album). So when you try to choose an existing series title...

Make Mediamonkey volume control also control system volume

It could be useful for some of the users to have an option to bind Mediamonkey volume control with the main system volume control. This would make turning volume all the way up (it's especially relevant to laptops) easier for some of us.

Tooltip frame preview

There are a lot of video players that show tooltips of video frames when a user hovers over some part of the seek bar.
Now, this isn't in any way important or necessary, but it's just a nice little thing to have in a player.

Re: Remove the dotted selection border from the library

All I can say currently is that this will change drastically in near MMW Future. By that I mean it will not be recognizable and way more better and customizable. When I saw it only thing I said is that I couldn't believe how evolution is great and that I could not even imagine that 11 years ago. We...

Selection bugs

1.If no field in a group is selected, when you click a space at the top of the group (above the first row), the group seems selected (though it's not how my skin usually selects a group), but the files in it don't get selected. Re: Inline Lyrics 3.1 - Updated 24/03/2009

Well, in that case, maybe instead of being a different plugin, the editor should open in some kind of "Editing mode" of the lyrics plugin. That way it will take the same space as the lyrics plugin (or maybe open in a non-dockable window which would close after user finished editing), which is very r...

Re: Inline Lyrics 3.1 - Updated 24/03/2009

I think this would probably be a separate script, or at least a very different mode, as it would be a totally different way of displaying the lyrics. But I'll add it to my list. I'll be keeping my eyes for the news :D I also used to have a "Lyric Timer" script that was a dockable panel and made it ...
