Re: Helium skin v1.0

Thank You both. I have now clicked the monkey on the left and it works. At the moment we are so very lucky to have so many nice skins to choose from. Many thanks to you all. Eyal, I don't normally say this about a skin but yours is really quite beautiful. I absolutely love the pale blue and the blac...

Free Legal Music - Claire Hamill

If you like folk music al la Joni Mitchell then you might want to check out Claire Hamill. A prolific performer and writer based in the U.K. See Wiki for more info'. She has decided to release many of her tracks for free. My special favourite is "One House Left Standing". The tracks "Baseball Blues"...

Re: Nero Cover Designer Help

I agree it is outdated crap but here is the solution. Go to: 1. Insert - Field - Custom Text. This should give you a blank horizontal text box. 2. Double Click on the horizontal box you have created. Enter what you want in the Custom Text Panel that appears. The box to fill in is third up from the b...

Keyboard Shortcut

Am I correct in thinking there is no shortcut key for access to the mp3 file in its folder instead of the current: Select - Find More From Same - Explorer.

Re: Songbird (Gonzo) Skin v1.0

I still rate this as one of the very best because it has a slim bar at the bottom and is so easy to use because it is uncluttered. Compare it for example to the WMP 11 which is good but is gi-normous.

If only the top bar colour was a little brighter.

One can live in hope.

Re: Windows 7

I read a test review on a P.C. site. The author asked his son to compare it with the free Fedora/Ubuntu. He couldn't tell the difference. :D

As for the Google OS. I can see the little oiks queueing up ready to hack it to pieces.

Open Source - The way to go.

Decisions, Decisions.

I've just worn my eyes out trying to find a decent mp3 player. Originally I wanted one which had pda software but they are now few and far between except for HP and Palm and both are dated. I avoided Apple and Zune because I think mega corporations suck big time. I detest the way Jobs and his mates ...

Re: Micheal Jackson Dead at 50

No problem. We've both been on here long enough without the need for falling out with each other. Life is too short - said the dwarf to the pygmy :D

We are presently spared Palin but no doubt she'll be running for President - and a cat in hell's chance she'll have.

Re: Micheal Jackson Dead at 50

It's nothing to do with speaking ill of the dead. The contrast I made was intentional - namely the values of this society. In particular the almost deification of a singer. I am also giving a context from this side of the ocean. We currently have young men dying in Afghanistan along with American an...

Re: Micheal Jackson Dead at 50

I don't know where you live but here in the U.K. we have been overdosed with Jackson death mania. When the BBC put it on their web page as a major story and as did most of the newspapers you have to question the sanity of this western world and what its priorities are. Leaving aside his music - and ...

Dread,

If you get a moment download the new Opera 10 Beta. If you could get those colours we'd have not only the best Monkey skin but also the best browser. Nice, very nice ice blue and very skinny.
