Unfortunately I ran into another error. MonkeyRok completely crashes MM when it tries to display certain albums. There is no error message shown, but I believe that the song ratings are the reason for the crash. I'm using the AutoRateAccurate script so the ratings are non-standard. A similar bug occ...

@mattisse In your example album, click once on the album art that displays in MonkeyRok and see if the expanded image opens in a larger separate window. This is the step that does not display the album art. I just tried this step and the album art (which is embedded in the mp3 file) was displayed i...

This is a bug - the image is not produced becaue of the single quote (') characters in the song title. This will be fixed in the next version. Hi trixmoto, knowing that the album art is shown properly for same Gigi D'Agostino song in my library, I looked a little further into this bug. The single q...

because the orchestra may be different on each track and so might the composer, but if they are all on the same album, then album artist needs to be there. Yes, that's what I meant to say with my posting. Sometimes I need the artist field for the main soloist(s), like e.g. Glenn Gould or Pavarotti ...

pah68 wrote:"Album Artist" is "Orchestra" in classical tracks
I know that "album artist" is replaced by "orchestra" for classical music.
That was the whole point of my posting. I'm missing a field where I can put something like "Various Artists" for a classical compilation album.

Another issue with the classical genre:

The album artist field was removed for classical songs. But it is still needed, otherwise it's not possible to group classical compilation albums.

Second that wish.

It would be the best solution though if users could specify what custom genres are subgenres of "classical".
That way everyone's genre tagging preferences would be covered.

For a lot of my MP3s MM3 displays the file creation date instead of the Recording Year tag in the Date field. This happens although the ID3 frame YEAR exists and is read properly by MM2.5 or Winamp. So far I couldn't see a pattern in MM3 displaying the correct recording year and displaying the file ...

Hello, I've had problems when playing files with a length of over 100 minutes. CueReader gave me a runtime error in this case. However changing the code in lines 377-379 to min = Clng(Mid(txt,1,Len(txt)-6)) sec = Clng(Mid(txt,Len(txt)-4,2)) fra = Clng(Mid(txt,Len(txt)-1,2)) solved the problem. Maybe...

It should be fairly easy to remove those duplicate files.

Just go to the Library node, open the subnode for the drive with the songs you want to remove. Click on "All" and it will display all songs of that drive.
Select them all and delete them from your library.

Hi MattB, this can be done already. I'm surprised a bit that you didn't find that option, it's right where it should be. Create a new auto-playlist. Go to the 'Advanced' tab. There you can enter your criteria for the playlist. E.g. property = comment, condition = doesn't contain, value = Expl...
