Corrupted database

I recently upgraded my notebook's primary internal hdd. However, when I open MMW, all the songs are grayed out. When I go to the song properties I get "[Main]" (volume name) in front of the file name and not the drive letter like it used to be. Even after scanning/updating the library I now have two...

Re: ''Click Rename'' Removal?

After all these years !! There are people in this forum that actually agree with me !! Hallelujah ! hahaha I've had so many complaining topics with no positive returns (or even offensive replies...) over the years that I just felt like I'm annoying the forum. So ever since I just keep my complaints...

Disable edit by clicking on already selected song?

Yes, I know it's a bit of a weird request, lol. However, a few times I've accidentally cleared info (easy to revert) when attempting to delete a song from my playlist (using the keyboard delete). I was wondering if there is a way to disable editing the track info via clicking on a song which is alre...

Re: Looking for a new MP3 Player (no iPods!)

Thanks for all the help! I ending up finding a player, suitable for me, at the site where I normally buy all my photography gear.
ATM I've been using the stock player because MM for android wasn't syncing properly via WiFi. I may go back if it's going well again.

I know about the MMW remote. I actually love that.

Re: Looking for a new MP3 Player (no iPods!)

I want a dedicated mp3 player because smartphones are notoriously horrible with battery life. My phone dies fast enough as it is... :(. My mp3 players last for days without charging.

Looking for a new MP3 Player (no iPods!)

My first couple of MP3 players were from creative. They worked great until I broke then. Unfortunately, creative stopped making those so I couldn't get them anymore. Creative's last player, the Xen-Fi2 was hot garbage. I sent it back immediately. I ended up getting a Cowon J3 which died and now have...

Did you leave a note for the addon dev about it not working?
I have now, hehe. I replied on the thread where it was posted. I still think it should be a standard option.

Re: One Song Repeat

Well, I was using this one. For some reason it stopped working with one of the recent updates to MMW :(. Hopefully someone releases another plugin or this becomes a standard feature like it was in WinAmp. R.I.P.

Re: Jump to file / show entry on playlist / new search mode

I know that feature. It is not the same. In Winamp, while in the now playing list, you type the letter J and a separate window pops up. You begin typing any text of the song and you can then play that song where it is. The functionality you are talking about is in the media library, not now playing.

Re: Jump to a song in playlist

Looks like, at least one person, requested it back in 2011. I just piggybacked on that one. Hopefully this comes out in a future version...

I also wish to have this function. It's one of the features I loved the most about Winamp. I took it for granted until I didn't have it in MMW...

Re: Jump to a song in playlist

As per the comment prior to mine, that isn't what I am looking for. Yes, in theory this sounds great. However, if there are more than one song in the list that start with the same word you are stuck. In Winamp, I type the letter J. A window pops up with all the songs in the playlist and I begin typi...

Re: Jump to a song in playlist

I would also like this functionality, hehe. I switched to MM, after Winamp shut down (was with them since 1998). This is one of the simple functions I loved about Winamp. I've adjusted to MM, more or less, but def a lot of little things I miss about Winamp.
