Sounds strange. It shouldnt be any problem to add wma files. Try to reinstall the program!

Reading bpm from tags in wav and wma files

I've been using Mixmeisters PBM analyzer on my music collection. It works fine for mp3, wav and wma files. It calculates the value and write it to the tag of the file. The thing is that MM only pick up the bpm for mp3 files and not from any WAV or WMA files. Is it a bug in MM or is Mixmeister writin...

Could it be that you have other file types than MP3? Rescan again and make sure you have checked all file types. If you have MP4 you must install a plugin first to be able to add and play them in MM. Search the forum for it!

Have you tried to right click on the current MM icon in the taskbar?

Other tips todo on the icon:
Left click = Pause/start
Left click+move up = increase volume
Left click+move down= decrease volume
Left click+move right = next
Left click+move left = previous

Not sure if I get you right but it is just to delete it within MM. Right click and choose "Remove".

Also check this.
Tools>Options>Library and hook "Remove unused Artists" and "Remove unused Albums".

You cannot avoid creating it but you can make it appear in the bottom of the node instead of the top.
Tools>Option>Tree and choose Bottom in "Show 'All' In Location Node At:"
Then it's not so annoying...

To wipe the program completely off your system you'll need to delete the DB wich is located in:
C:\Documents and Settings\your name\My documents\My music\MediaMonkey
