It found 2500albums that needed covers, but the script hung on my P4 3.2GHz/1G memory/WinXP notebook, making scrolling through the covers a tedious (but close to impossible) process.

An autoplaylist template

Hi guys, Using v255 here and I'm wondering if there is a way to create an advance autoplaylist template from where I could create more autoplaylists with similar rules. For example, I disliked how mm handled the genre node, so I created an autoplaylist from the said genre with the following sort cri...

Mediamonkey supports unicode as does the latest version of winamp. I have many albums from Japan and all of the information from amazon.co.jp and freedb shows up quite nicely in mediamonkey. Unfortunately, the winamp playlists are still in ascii.

Jiri Yeah, it seems like the bug, in my case, pertains to the inability of mediamonkey to read id3 v2.3 UTF-16 tags correctly upon importing. It is weird ...

Here are two pics showing what happened:

(1) Mediamonkey setup
(2) After importing, the id3 tags in mediamonkey have a trail of garbled characters when they otherwise look fine in mp3tag.

MM corrupting id3 tags upon adding/scanning new tracks

Hi guys, This problem just started to crop up the other day on v2.5.5.996 of the player. I ripped one of my albums and added the associated id3 information and album art using mp3tag. Then, I scanned the folder in mediamonkey to add the tracks to my library. On every occasion the track's id3 tag sho...
