This probably isn't going to help much, but have you tried a manual scan and made sure that all the correct file types are associated for the search / scan? It seems like the problem you are having is that your drive is not being recognized correctly by MediaMonkey. The SerialNumber and DriveID are ...

It seems that a possible solution, and perhaps one you already tried, would be to configure the iPhone as an iPod. It seems most likely this is what Apple would model the phone after since it uses iTunes...

There might be a way to do it through MediaMonkey's tagging features, but if it can't, MP3Tag is a great program that can do almost anything including what you are interested in. I use it a lot just because it is quick and simple and it allows my music to go into MediaMonkey in an organized fashion....

He did get all his music into the library, which is good. In his first post he stated that it is with the volume leveling he is having issues with. While I haven't used volume leveling in MediaMonkey since I am using 2.5.5 and I am waiting on 3 for a while. I utilize other programs to generate Repla...

There are a couple of possibilities... 1. Some of the files being scanned are not MM compatible files so they don't get added. For instance, I believe it shows all the files as being scanned even if they are not MM files (e.g. PDFs, JPGs, etc.) as I have a couple of those in my music directories (al...

There's a checkbox at the bottom of the box for adding album art that asks whether to put the album art to all tracks in an album or just the selected track. Make sure that box is not selected, and that should get you what you want. Also check this post out from this same forum a day ago... The auth...

I'm not sure if you have multiple drives, but have you tried using another drive or even another computer? Have you tried browsing to the disc using Windows Explorer? My next suggestion is to see if the DVD side even works in your computer's DVD drive. I know that there was a problem with Sony DualD...

I have a feeling that if your computer isn't recognizing it, you might be out of luck...

I have a few of these and have never had a problem ripping them using EAC. The biggest problem I've had with these discs is getting them in the right side up.

One thing you can think of since you would have to convert to mp3 (although MM can do that for you with the registered version) is that a flac + mp3 is still going to be smaller than a wav (assuming you wanted both).

Re: I'm New & Need Help Organizing My Music Library

Hello to all & thanks in advance...I've recently been told all about what MM can do so I'm giving it a whirl, but I need some direction. Here's my 1st dilemma: I have music on 2 different hard drives & I want to consolidate them onto one HD. However, I have a lot of the same albums on both HD's & I...
