Very disappointed that MM3 appeared to have trashed my MM2 setup, and I had to look around the forums to find the new and old database locations etc. MM3 should leave MM2 alone - particularly in beta. If you want to have the data in the horribly buried application data folder, fine. Just don't tras...

In reply to all those people with database issues. 1. MediaMonkey is using a new SQLite database, instead of the Microsoft Access (.mdb) database. Currently MM3 cannot read .mdb databases, and I believe it is not going to either. Instead, a converter will be included to convert the MM2 (.mdb) databa...

I'm a bit confused. Does MM 3.0 still support Microsoft Access Databases (.mdb)? or do we have to convert our existing library to the new .db format? Also, there seems to be a MediaMonkey folder in My Music, plus c:\documents and settings\<user>\Local Settings\Application data\Mediamonkey. Which one...

MediaMonkey is a Music Management program, and doesn't support video files and/or transfering them to an iPod, although MediaMonkey does support iPods. There are plugins to catalogue video files in MM, but they don't support transfering them to an iPod.

Sorry, but I don't think there is an option for this. If you right click on a track got "Find More From the Same" you can find more tracks from the same artist, album ect. but there is no option for finding more with the same title. I hope that clears up your question, maybe it could be implimented ...

Firstly, Welcome to the MediaMonkey Club! (we've got jackets!) So basically what you are saying is that it has scanned the files in to Mediamonkey 3 times, from the same directory (in theory). So you want to delete the ones from the D: and the \\server out of mediamonkey (not from the actually compu...

I don't believe XP Media Centre Edition is included in the Vista Upgrade Guarantee, as it is not on the list found here http://www.microsoft.com/australia/windows/terms.mspx However, XP MCE is just a souped up version of XP Home, so if it is included in the upgrade, it is probably only going to be V...

The only problem with the Microsoft Vista Upgrade Guarantee is that if you buy a computer with XP Home, you only get an upgrade to Vista Home Basic (which is a watered down version of Vista with no MCE or Aero Interface) not Home Premium, I think that is a real rip off from Microsoft as all your get...

It appears you have Auto-DJ on. Go to Play > Auto-DJ and deselect it.

Auto-DJ will randomly select tracks from your Library to keep a certain number of tracks in the Now Playing list. If you wish to keep it but modify it, go to Tools > Options > "Auto DJ/Now Playing"

Once you have opened up MediaMonkey have you selected the "Title" node from the side, under Library. I know, that may seem very obvious, but it happens. Otherwise, when you have tried to scan your music folder, have you made sure that all the filetypes, like MP3 and WMA are selected? And what sort o...

As long as the NAS shows up as a Mapped Network Drive in My Computer, MediaMonkey should be able to monitor it as if it were any other drive.
