Yep

I must admit I like this list for the next version. Of course there are always other things left, but that's why it's your program and not mine. I will be looking out for the first beta release to get to play with it.

Thanks

Script

MM can't do that for you, but you could write a script for it, or ask for such a script in the developers forum.

Ok

The problem is that I have empty artists as they are often named wrong in the album artist. This gives a confusing display for me. The main thing is that the album artist tracks are hidden in my view. I find this annoying. As I guess user wishes will vary on this subject I would opt for an option on...

Nah, not really

Well graying out would still cause annoyance (besides that this doesn't happen right now) and well that if you select a list of songs to play these grayed out songs would be in the now playing too. Especially with removable drives (could be quit some songs %) this would be more destracting than help...

How useful?

If the last used playlist was left in the Now Playing window before shutdown, MM will display this again in the Now Playing window at startup of MM. You can save a playlist on your PC and link it in the Startup folder and MM will start autoplay when Win is started (if MM is default player for m3u li...

Not sure

Something similar has been requested in the form of manual editing of volume level values.
This request seems to be quit extensive as MM would need to know about the volume in WinAmp.

some help

File scanning at startup is due to the file monitor. You can turn of the file monitor startup scan in the options menu (click the yes to get a dropdown menu).

A slow startup & shutdown can be due to a long list of pluging being loaded/unloaded.

I hope this helps!

How about...

Not that I have a problem with this feature, but ... How about that MM deletes the song once played (if no longer fits autoplaylist criteria) and adds a new song to end of Now Playing. MM would need to compare old and new playlist at end of song and delete entries no longer valid and append entries ...

One line

I'd probably prefer solution 1 as I want to tracks to remain a single line item in the tracklistings.
Anyway this item isn't very important for me. I might use multiple album or genre but that's it.

Sorry

Sorry, I don´t really feel up to creating a whole translation package (Worried with the helpfile, quite extensive) but I can review the Dutch and German interface. And if nobody is found for the Spanish one I can help check that one too. My question is how would this be handled. Will the program be ...

Display

I just thought of a potential problem with multiple values in fields: The tracklistings display. How would these fields be decently displayed in MM? Will MM auto create columns based on how many values there are in a field?

Simple

Just remember to keep the interface simple and clean. The current properties window is a decent example of that. The first thing people see is simple with the common tag fields. All the advanced stuff is hidden behind tabs.

Yep

Yep, you can store it anywhere you want, even on the network. You'll need to manually edit the MediaMonkey.ini file in the MediaMonkey program folder. locate the following line: [system] Add this new line: DBname=location\MediaMonkey.mdb Please be carefull editing this ini file as you might mess up ...
