Oh, my God... this is really emberassing ... I saved the new MM to the wrong location and simply did not notice that I was installing the older version again....

Sorry guys, we all know now who messed up things.
(Hint: it's not you .....)

***UPDATE*** Finally, I managed to get rid of the library. I now looked up my music files and tried to add them to the library, resulting in the following error, same as I had before: There was a problem querying the database: Error executing SQL "INSERT INTO Songs (SongPath, Artist, IdAlbum, Album ...

Beta 3: messy

Beta 3 is really a mess. I don't know what went wrong, but this one really needs some repairs... I am unable to attach a debug file, since MM will not start at all when debugging. Here's the troubles I found. 1. MM starts with a default skin where there's black text on a dark blue background. It is ...

MM ignoring default browser

Small bug, but it shouldn't work this way, so I mention it here. Problem: When auto-taging from Amazon, the dialogue screen appears with all album info in it: titles, release, label, album cover. When clicking on the album art, MM opens the Amazon web-site in Internet Exploder. However, Firefox is ...

Weird situation with networked drive

Hi, Something weird's going on and I'm unable to find a solution. I am running SME Server 7.1 as a media-server. Connected to that is my Windows XP Pro SP2 rig. One information bay on the SME server contains all my music. That bay (drive) is networked in XP and is accassible through drive Z. XP logs ...

A8 Remarks

There are a few things that aren't going well in A8 (but it's becoming better!) - When I select files in the main windows and drag them to the Now Playing list, MM crashes. It does bring up the crash-reporting window. - I am unable to find the on-the-fly volume levelling for portable devices. I must ...

Okay, I understand that and I can use Easy H10 to update the database, it's not that much of a fuzz. But I forgot to mention one other thing: is it possible to make an option in the (auto) synch properties to have the track volume leveled (not analyzed), so that track volume is constant on any ...

What I really REALLY miss ...

I love MM, still. But I'm still missing something. Why is it that there is compatibility for iRiver Hxx and 300 series but only for those players using the Microsoft MTP version? Why force people to use a standard they don't want? So, please, make it possible to use the iRiver devices with UMS ...

auto add to library

This was a bug in 2.5 (never solved) and now it is again in this version. Problem: when I copy music onto my computer on the - for example - D-drive (that is enabled in file monitor) and then move the files to my main music collection (also monitored) through mediamonkey , then those files aren't ...

Nope, same trouble as in 10 is in 11.
But, don't worry - I'm fairly happy with MM.

No, I'm not joking at all. I hate WMP. It ruins my mp3's and it does too much without asking. It is the way that MS makes things : they should learn how to make sofware that is more scalable/adjustable than they do right now. And no: I am not one of those "I hate everything that Microsoft makes ...

Nice ..... but not for me, thanks.
I just stick to the way I have it now and keep on hoping that the new MM will not remind me too much of MS's crappy player.
