Re: [1635] "Mediamonkey Library" appears incorrectly

Easily fixed - changed the user that logs on the service from "Local Account" to "Administrator" (which is the account with the "correct" settings) and now it uses the correct database etc. As a matter of interest could I have achieved the same thing with a symbolic link?

Re: [1635] "Mediamonkey Library" appears incorrectly

Hi - the "MediamonkeyService" isn't on the MM DLNA client, but the MM DLNA server. http://www.johnmcculloch.net/images/MM41BetaError26.png If I set this to "Manual" then reboot the server and launch MM manually, I don't get "Mediamonkey Library" as a DLNA server, but if...

Re: [1635] "Mediamonkey Library" appears incorrectly

Hi The MM "Mediamonkey Library" server is still there after a reboot of the UPnP server (uses the MediaMonkeyService to start the MM server - not sure if this may be relevant). The MM server version is 1636 and the client is 1635. I deleted the "Mediamonkey Library" server months...

[1635] "Mediamonkey Library" appears incorrectly

Hi I have a MM4.1 UPnP server running what should be a single UPnP server called "MM Motorcom" on port 4000. I have deleted the server called "Mediamonkey Library". http://www.johnmcculloch.net/images/MM41BetaError21.png However, intermittently when browsing the network, I can se...

Re: [1636] 2nd external IP address not showing in Device [#1

I've just checked and, yes, both devices share the same MM profile which I assume is associated with the MAC address. Everything on the other side of the router also shows up with a MAC address of XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX in MM.

Re: [1636] 2nd external IP address not showing in Device [#1

I assume as they're the other side of the router that they share the dummy MAC address XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX and therefore also share the same profile - the TV certainly sees MM UPnP OK. I'll confirm this tomorrow at work.

[1636] 2nd external IP address not showing in Device [#10834

Hi Bit of a strange one, but I have two devices at work (a Samsung smart TV and a Windows phone) that connect to a Mediamonkey UPnP server at home via a router to router VPN with multicasting enabled. These devices are on work internal fixed IP addresses 192.168.29.81 (phone) and 192.168.29.120 (TV)...

Yes - I think one of my radios has a "friendly name" built in, though the other doesn't seem to.

You can do exactly that as of 4.1.

Re: Cosmetic changes to Media Sharing/Devices

You can adjust column widths (at least on 4.1.0.1617). As for the naming are you suggesting that MediaMonkey picks up the friendly name by itself or that the user can give a device a name? Yes - I realise that you can manually change the column width, but it's not saved and the next time you go in ...

Cosmetic changes to Media Sharing/Devices

Would it be possible to make a couple of cosmetic changes to the Media Sharing/Devices dialog: http://www.johnmcculloch.net/images/MM4Request1.png Could the IP address column be widened a few pixels so that you can actually see the final digits of the IP addresses? You can widen this manually, but i...

Re: Playing from DLNA server

I had a very similar thing and it ended up being the trial codec pack had expired. It seems that the codec used to play aac locally and to stream over DLNA are different and the streaming one needs purchasing or the trial pack re-installing. Using Trial Pack 2.0.0.14.

Thanks
