Search within playlists

Post by Burger Queenie » Thu Apr 26, 2007 10:18 am

Question from a newbie:

I've searched this forum but I couldn't find the answer.

A have a database of around 16.000 songs; when I create playlists, I usually add all my songs to a new playlist and then delete the songs manually that I don't want in it. The method I always used was searching of filtering within a specific playlist (by artist, or genre etc.). However, I tried the search engine but the results it gives me are of the complete database and not the playlist I would like to work on. Is there any way (maybe with scripts or magic nodes) to add the ability to search ONLY in the specific playlist and then delete the files in the playlist and not the database that I don't want in it?

One other question but not that disturbing....Is there also an ability to get rid of the numbering which appears in the Title section before the actual title in playlists? Or maybe a separate column which displays the trackorder.

Thanks alot!
