Changing filename based on Tag?

In MMJB I was able to change the filename from the tag. Is that option somewhere in media monkey and I have just missed it? I have lots of songs where the file name is just the song title. I can batch add the artist, but would like to batch change the filename.

Hope I'm making this clear.

Thanks,
Ruth

Thank you!!

Now, it says the red files are duplicates, why are some yellow?

Appreciate the prompt response!!

Thanks,

Yellow indicates filenames that will be altered from their original when you run the rename process. Red ones are ones where more then one file you're trying to name would end up with the same filename, thus meaning there is a conflict and they both can't have the same name.

And if you proceed when you have red highlighted tracks you will loose tracks. MediaMonkey will overwrite songs as they have the same filename. Just modify the mask you use till you have no duplicates filenames (red highlighted) showing.

Wow!! New to this great program, and boy do I have a lot to learn!!

Thanks so much for the answers. Guess I should duplicate a couple of folders and play with the controls until I know what I'm doing!!

Many thanks for the great and fast response!!
