Hello how can I create a shortcut in MM to a radio stream *.pls file?

I would create a playlist called radio, then create new playlists under that playlist named for each stream.

Why? (IOW, why not just have one playlist with all the stations?)

You could, but then you don't have control over the name in the DB and it may not show a name you recognize. With playlists you have full control of the name. Either way would work though!

Yeah, I was just now playing with this, and realized it's actually the answer to a Wish I submitted over a year ago. Just doesn't seem right that MM is allowing a media source to update its own tags! Pragmatically, your suggestion is about as good a workaround for (what I see as) this defect as I've heard. Thanks!
