Installing on iPad

Post by vvenk »

Hello:

When I download MediaMonkey software, I am given an option to store it either Box or in Dropbox. I see the files there but don't know what to next. Dropbox says the file cannot be viewed and Box says the file cannot be opened.

Please advise.

You can't install MM on iPad. It only works on Windows operating systems.

So, what does it mean when MediaMonkey says with its statement "Sync your iPod, iPhone, Android, or other device."?

You can copy music files from your Windows computer to your iPhone/iPad etc.

vvenk thanks for asking this question - I too need to know what this means.

Does it mean that you can simply use MM4 to copy music to the iPad... and you do not need iTunes to get MP3s into the iPad (v3).

I understand there are conflicts with newer versions of iTunes and MM4.

I want to understand more about this topic. Where can I read and learn about using MM4 with an iPad.

Sync means to copy, so MediaMonkey can copy media files from your computer to your iPad and tags and playcounts back to MediaMonkey. To do so does require iTunes to be installed, but you don't have to use iTunes.

Not anymore, right now MM is compatible with all iterations of iPods/iPhones/iPad/iTunes EXCEPT for iOS6 which still is not released (only a beta-testing version is available from Apple).
