Selective crossfading

Post by Fransie »

I want to use MM for playing music at a party. I have got a playlist ready and I intend to play it with crossfading enabled. However, some track transitions should not be crossfaded, for example if there is a special ending or beginning of a track. So I wonder if any of the two alternatives below are possible:

1) Configure transitions of tracks in a playlist (crossfade on or off).
2) Have a dedicated hotkey or button for turning crossfading on or off (ideally with a visual confirmation).

Thanks in advance,
Frans

Thanks for the tip, but I had already found that thread and I think it does not apply to what I am looking for. Whether I want to crossfade or not does not depend on subsequent tracks belonging to the same album or not.
