MediaMonkey can't discover not read recorded tv files

Post by cmatte »

Hi,
I have a Dreambox receiver which records tv into .ts files (transport stream) in an attached disk, which is shared within the home network.
Its codec is a simple MPEG-1/2 Video (mpgv) (taken from VLC).
My problem is I can't nor get these files discovered nor have MediaMonkey read these .ts files, while it plays the video normally if I just rename the files to .mpeg (just the first one I tried).
Is there a way to instruct MediaMonkey that .ts files are just .mpeg?

Thanks.

In the meantime, modifying MediaMonkey.ini ScanExts and AssocExts parameters, let MM add the files to the library. But it still can't play them in .ts format. How to do the actual association of file format?
