applications for android devices

Post by rovingcowboy »

Have any one that uses android found away to find new or old apps in play google that DO NOT require phone call permissions, i'm getting tired of checking every app just to find they ask for that permission. What the h....... does a card game need to know what phone numbers you dialed? Its only needing that to spam you and who you call.

There are liget reasons apps need that permission but only apps that deal with how the phone works and those ar apps from the phone service provider, or message and call blockers or who are you look up apps.

Any others asking for that permission are spam apps.

I'm also tired of the game apps or other apps that are really only one time downoads asking for autoupdates, all they do that for is to restock an album they make in your gallery with new advertisements they put in their apps. Is there any way to find these malware spyware type of apps with out checking the permissions each time you want an app.?

I have a much bigger problem with applications requiring internet access, simple games like tetris not functioning in the Subway, because it needs the web for some mysterious reason.

That and FaceBook integration for every single small application.....
And having to register for something to use an application.

I guess nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition after all.....

Yeah, I wonder how much time you would need to unlock phone, put incoming call to back (if possible without rejecting it), Open MMA, Pause track, return to call, answer it (if caller not already hanged up)?

Dev? :) You must be getting OLD ;) 6+ Years now.
