Since I installed ios 8.1.3, mediamonkey doesn´t recognize my IPhone 4s, before upgrading to ios 8.1.3 I also upgraded iTunes to 12.1.0.71.

ITunes does recognize my IPhone 4s.

Have you looked at steps I gone thru with my 4s in order to get MMW recognize it. Try to start MMW while itunes is loaded and you are accessing/setup iPhone.

Looks like Apple Mobile service gets stopped and could not be started from MMW (stupidly looks like they changed all libraries to x64 only and MMW x86 app).

On my Windows 8.1 system, I recently upgrade iTunes to 12.1.0.71 and my iPod to 8.1.3. Both Windows and iTunes can detect the iPod, MM can not. I've searched this forum as well as the net and see that others are having similar problems. I'm wondering if this is an known bug and if a fix in the works, or is there something else I should try as a workaround.

So I recently lost my iTunes music library, but I still have everything on my iPhone 4. I'm using MM primarily to retrieve the music, as iTunes will not allow this.
But I can't get MM to recognize the iPhone. My iTunes does fine. Everything in the 'Portable Device Sync' is enabled. I've reinstalled iTunes twice, and MM three times, but MM will not recognize the iPhone.
Am I making a noob mistake? Help!

The work around is not working for me.
I have deinstalled all Aplle software on my pc, reinstalled iTunes but still my iPhone is not visible in MM.

I thought it was the iOS update on my iPhone that caused the problems, not the iTunes update on my PC.
But I had both, so I am not sure.

Sorry if this is a duplicate - I've searched around a bit...

I can't get MM to detect my Ipod Touch 4th Gen. I've installed ITunes and ticked the 'manually add music' box, but when I open MM and connect the Ipod it has nothing under My Computer. Windows and ITunes both recognise it...

Any help much appreciated!

I had an iphone 5s that I broke and just got an iphone 6. The iphone 5 worked great with mediamonkey and was always recognized. Now, with my new iphone it doesn't show up in mediamonkey. When I connect the iphone to my computer mediamonkey opens automatically but it is nowhere to be found. It is recognized fine by itunes but I absolutely hate using itunes.

What could be the problem here?

windows 7 64 bit...

uninstalled ALL apple software
reboot
installed itunes version from link, didnt do icloud crap
started itunes, plugged in phone
closed itunes, opened media monkey, phone was recognized

shouldnt have to do that though...also, do you really have to clutter up the forums with your songlists and top plays with every post?
