Ok, just submitted the log and some details. Ticket #IPG-322-81402.

Not sure if you need the iTunes_Control/iTunes folder, but I have it. It's 192MB though...Let me know how I can help.

By removing the Artwork folder from the iTunes folder, I was able to shrink the attachment size, so it's on the support ticket too.

For those that have been having issues with 8.3, especially on 4S phones, 4.1.8 should solve it. I've been helping debug/test and the latest two DLLs produced by MM completely solved my issues which were:

1. Inconcsitent sync (songs not always showing)
2. Only 1 song showing
3. Incomplete deletion of songs
4. MM crashing on exit after problematic sync

Speed is better, but still not blazing, but I'm ok with that. I'm not sure if the 4.1.8.1742 build has the latest DLLs I was given for testing, but if not it should soon enough.

I have an iPhone 4S with iOs 8.3 and the same issues you described. I just installed the version 4.1.8 but the problems remain. Maybe this version doesn't include yet the latest DLLs.

I didn't try 4.1.8 yet. I should get confirmation in the morning from the developer I've been working with in regards to if his two DLLs are not checked in. I was going to download it and try anyway, but since it was working for me ok with the 2 updates, I didn't bother yet.

I just gave 4.1.8 a shot, and had the issues again...problems with sync, issues deleting files, crashes.

Once I replaced the two DLLs I was given it all began working just fine again, so I'm guessing 4.1.8.1742 does NOT have the updates. Kind of weird it would be posted with out them, but I would say the fix is coming soon...

One thing I do though - I show patience when active sync is still running (spinning) on the phone. I wait for it to be finish before passing judgement, or doing something else. Just being cautious.

I'm having the same issues with the DLL errors, the device not being recognized when it's plugged in (a 4S) and the program does not exit cleanly. This is V4.1.7.1741

Should be fixed once the new release gets the updated DLLs. As for not being recognized, the only time I've seen that is when iTunes wasn't installed on the computer.

Hi, the changes from the testing DLLs that I posted to Steve via eSupport will be incorporated in the next build (4.1.8.1743), see: http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view. ... 715#c42521

Let us know how it will work for you with 1743 (to be posted later today or tomorrow - once other urgent issues are resolved)

I'll just add one thing...before you just start syncing, I would clean up the phone...manually delete any music in the music folder on the phone...then check the music app and delete anything you see there. Then in MM, set up the device to sync nothing, do a sync, to clean up more, and then when all done, you should be good to go. Your phone could still be in a funky state...

I am running 1744 RC, followed the instructions in the post before this one, but still sync is very unreliable on my iPhone 4 running iOS8.3. At least half of my podcasts are missing and the playlist is intermittently not being synced.

How can I create a log to send you ?

I just tried 1744 and it crashed on me about 20% through. I wasn't capturing a debug log. I will do it again and see what happens.

Ludek, something isn't right between 1742 with the updates DLLs and this version now.

Just tried the latest build. A sync with 30 songs was fine. But like earlier, a larger sync with 550 songs crashed. Different crash than before, but another crash, and then MM just stopped processing (got stuck).

I'm going to open another support ticket and submit the debug log.

Ludek, with 4.1.7.1741 and the 2 new DLLs you gave me, all was well. Something went wrong with 4.1.8.1744.
