Hi All,

I am having similar problems with my new iPad Air2.

I downloaded MM 4.1.8.1747 yesterday. I am trying to sync some 3000 songs in a playlist converting format on the fly to MP3. I started a sync last night and it appears that MM stopped after 800 songs.

Previously I was using version 4.1.7.1741 of MM. I think it is taking about and hour to convert and sync 120 songs with MM eventually crashing anyway. If I try to restart after already converting a number of songs MM appears to be starting all over again and redoing those files already converted and synced.

The error message I tend to get on crashing is:

"Exception EAssertionFailed in module
MediaMonkey64Helper.exe at 000000000014BB59
Unknown function: AMDServiceConnectionRecece
(C:\projects\Plugins\Devices|d_IPid\x64Helper|x64Caller.pas,line 338).

My system runs W7, has an I3 CPU and the OS is located on an SSD drive so I think it should be adequate for the purpose.

I think I might just use MM for the file conversion and use iTunes for the actual sync which of course is not ideal. Therefore, does anyone have any thoughts on what I should try next in MM?

Thanks and regards,

Bailso

Hi,
the error you listed here (EAssertionFailed) was with 4.1.8.1741 and no longer appears in 1747, right?
Because the error was fixed in build 1745.

If you still have troubles to sync with 1747 it is the best to catch it in debug log (item 4b here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... ?f=6&t=341) and post to eSupport for analyze ( http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/inde ... ets/Submit )

Thanks for the response. Yes the error message was related to the earlier version.

I downloaded the debug version of MM and when the sync crashed again sent the error log to MM as requested.

I have overcome the problem for now by installing the iTunes MM plugin and it works extremely well and has some advantages as long as disc space is not a problem.

I'm using build 1747 and I'm getting mixed up tags. The song playing on my iphone is different than the title and lyrics. seems this is still an issue. I'll test with the latest build tomorrow and report back with a log file.

Yes I have the same problem as Jim (above) with mixed-up tags, on 1747.

I installed the debug version of [1748] and I'm 50 songs into my playlist of 270 songs and I have not reached a song with mixed up tags (or album covers!). I did clean all the music off my device and start from a clean phone so that might have something to do with it. I will sync my autoplaylists starting tomorrow and capture debug logs incase I run into the mixed tags issue again.

I've been having pretty good luck with the latest build, but I just had an issue. Syncing my iphone 6 plus with 8.1.3 ios, it deleted all the songs/playlists on my device in the middle of the process. The phone ended up with 80 songs instead of 650 ish where it should have been. I will log a ticket with support and post the ticket number with the debug log in this thread.

This is the issue I've been trying to help MM solve for a month or so now...incomplete sync....I'm running a 4S though, so we thought it was only happening on those devices.

I also am having incredibly slow syncs... again.
I was trying to sync ~ 3000 songs on to my iphone 6 and it took about 2 hours and it got stuck at around the 400th song.

I just downloaded the latest beta to see if it was any better. The previous version was stalled at around 200, so maybe the 1750 beta is *slightly* better.

iOS 8.4 does not work with build 1750 and lower, you will need build 1751+ to be able to sync successfuly with iOS 8.4 : http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=12779

My iPhone 6 with iOS8.3 is also having similar problems. "Seems" like it syncing, though very slowly - like 1 song every 2 minutes - but after finishing, now new music is on my iPhone.
