Syncing the GROUPING field

Is it possible that the grouping field is not synced correctly to my iPhone?

When I sync a file to my iPhone using MM, the grouping field on my iPhone is empty.
When I sync the same file to my iPhone using iTunes, the grouping field is filled with the value that I have put there using MM.
